It was decent, the asada burrito was a good size and flavor but didn't come with sides, the chipotle shrimp had nice flavor as well as the beans, it was just a pretty small serving size. I did like the soft corn tortillas it came with. I don't remember another time I've finished a whole meal at a Mexican restaurant, and not felt full. Just something to know ahead of time that it's good if you're looking for a smaller meal. They also forgot to give us the guac we bought or any chips, which I guess might not be included. The green salsa was good and the red salsa was super spicy. Smaller place with inside seating, food came out for takeout pretty quickly (~15 minutes).

We have followed this aptly named (Taste of Life) restaurant from its original location on Cottage &24th to State Street (with another locale in Taylorsville on US31). The menu is simple and basic but well executed. Tacos are Mexican street taco style made with 2 soft corn tortillas, grilled onions, chopped cilantro and radishes and a wedge of lime. The lunch special gets you 3 beef tacos for $5, with chicken tacos at the same price M-W. There are other lunch specials starting at $5 which include tortas (sandwiches), lunch size chimichanga with beans and rice, and beef burrito. The premises are exceptionally clean which is always appreciated. The staff is friendly and polite. There might be a bit of a wait if you come during busy times. There is only one wait person and, I think, one cook but it's easy to get in and out in an hour. They do a brisk carry out business too.

Good sandwiches with a side of slow service! The sandwiches here are a decent value, you get a solid 1000 calories sandwich with the chip surcharge for about $12 all in. They pack in every possible random cheap meat in the roll and boom you get real full!Unfortunately, the service is INSANELY SLOW and its almost like counter service because they never come back. I knocked off 2 stars because I just couldn't stand the slow service and having to line up to pay at the front.

Nice family restaurant-like South-of-the-Border-in-Columbus place. Mexican food favorites at reasonable prices. The chips aren't free, but once you taste the salsas, you'll understand why. They're yummy.Pretty standard stuff, including tacos, tortas, enchiladas, etc. Not especially strong on seafood, more on meat combos-- but vegetarians have choices, too. Service as fast and friendly and our orders came quickly and tasted fine. Has an industrial interior and was priced inexpensively.
