The food is excellent here. Well known for their Cheeseburgers and crispy fries. Service is pretty good usually. Ambiance - it's a diner atmosphere. Recommended.

Nicest restaurant in Worthington. Very clean and welcoming venue. The staff was attentive and friendly. The tenderloins were great, sadly the pizza was below average. The crust tasted like cardboard and there was an excessive amount Italian seasoning dumped on top. The red sauce was tasty though.

I've been informed that this restaurant now accepts credit cards though I haven't been back to confirm it. At the time of my visit, they did not and it caused some concern for us which affected the rating. --------------- original review--------------So, since this place clearly has (had) marked on the door and menus that they take cash and local checks only, my wife had to pay for dinner since I didn't have much cash on me. We literally stood on the sidewalk and checked to see if we thought we had enough to eat here. We had already driven by one place I had bookmarked that wasn't open, so it was either here or who knows where. My wife pointed out the door was smudged with dirt from people putting their hands on it since she is a stickler for clean places to dine. So, we entered into a retro looking restaurant with black and white tile floors and a tin stamped ceiling. We were directed to sit where we liked and I grabbed a 4 top table that was perched right over a floor vent. The waitresses come to your table and bring your food out to you which has your order ticket on your basket. When you are finished, you take your ticket to the counter and pay there. Note that the cash register is next to the ice cream counter, so you do have one last chance to get dessert before paying. The prices are really low and the portions are large which I suspect contribute to the high marks this place gets. However, my wife's order of a breaded tenderloin and sweet potato waffle fries was disappointing. The tenderloin, though breaded and thicker than most, was barely browned and she said it had very little seasoning in the breading. Bland was the word she used. And the fries were regular sweet potato fries, not waffled.I went with a single hamburger with my choice of toppings and a shareable sized order of fried pickles. The pickles were hot (right out of the fryer) and the Ranch dressing was seasoned. Pretty good flavor, though some tasted more like bread and butter pickles while others tasted like dill. The burger meat was smashed really thin and was falling apart. It was fried through and had no juiciness to it. The flavor was okay, but nothing I couldn't make better at home. No wonder the prices are low.She did get a single scoop of caramel ice cream. I found the ice cream to have a low fat content so that it felt gritty instead of smooth. Not my preferred choice.Seems like another case where a lack of competition yields high ratings. At least the service was friendly and the room had a nice feel to it. If you are hungry and in the area, you can get a large meal with decent food if you have cash. Otherwise, there isn't much to draw you here.Review #2676

My guy has driven by this diner for months and was intrigued. It is a very cute and classic Americana diner from the outside. We live nearby and decided to give it a whirl for lunch one day not really expecting much.Well, it's simply so good it instantly become one of "our" places and one thing that is different than your average rural diner is this place is spacious and roomy. Beautiful high ceilings with old time tin plate ceiling. Classic soda fountain where you can order throw back Pepsi and Mt. Dew with real sugar not corn syrup. The only other place I've been that still makes soda with sugar is Mexico. The prices are very reasonable and for the quality and quantity of food you get the prices are low. You would spend more at fast food for a fraction of the value and flavor.Best sandwich's in county hands down. The ice cream is the best I've had in years from a soda fountain and I didn't even know the company Dean's makes ice cream but you can taste the real ingredients and no cheap fillers. Most importantly the staff is so lovely. Friendly, helpful and attentive they also clearly know the regulars and their preferences. Just a wonderful lunch experience. I'm delighted we live near by!

Best breaded tenderloin in a 50 square mile area. The food is above average for diner type food, but the entire menu is overpriced for what you're still getting. No way 4 sandwiches with fries and a soft drink should cost over $65 in a town of 800 people.

So I went to 67 Diner today and I'm a a local frequent customer. The guy that cooked my food was disgusting. While I was watching the back he was coming in and out taking small smoke breaks. He didn't wash his hands once. Between those times inside he was touching both frozen and hot food with his bare hands. He also scratched his head and pulled his pants up with his thumb in his pants. AND NEVER NO GLOVES!
