Roppongi Japanese Steak & Sushi

They were super packed so we didn't get to sit at hibachi grill for experience.We were charged the same amount as we were sitting at the hibachi grill.Service was friendly and accommodating.Bathrooms were clean.We had warm sake (get the large for $10 and split it)The redbull deep fried sushi was the best sushi I've ever had. The spicy crab was flavorful and filling. - 9The salad was good but a bit too dressed - 6The soup was great for a cold night - 8Steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection (medium done)Fried rice and vegetables were palatable - 8Mai tai was a 7Dessert was a 8 I forgot the name of it (see photos)

I have been traveling pretty frequently to Indiana this past month. Which is how I discovered Roppongi. The service here is excellent and the food is above average. It is clean, spacious, and roomie. So I approve for large groups. My favorite dish is the derby roll! Try it if you like shrimp and crab.

This was a delicious Hibachi experience! Interestingly, the fried rice that comes with Hibachi is beef fried rice! It was nice! The salmon was cooked well, as were the shrimps! The service by our server and our table Hibachi chef was friendly and attentive! We were able to be seated right away for dinner! The restaurant was clean and east to get into and out of for one in our party who uses a walker. Will return!

Dined at Rappongi over the weekend while out of town for a sports event. It's a Japanese steak and sushi restaurant with hibachi tables. We arrived after the dinner rush and were immediately seated at a regular dining table. Our server, Aiden, was very attentive and helpful. Most of the group ordered the hibachi, but I opted for the tuna tartar which was absolutely the best choice. I also had the house salad and soup. The salad and soup was typical hibachi restaurant style and was very good. I liked the ginger dressing. The tuna tartar was served in a martini glass, so it looked very small. Also only had about 5 chips for the entire tuna but I ended up ordering a side of white rice to accompany it. The tuna tartar was extremely fresh and delicious. I was very happy with it, despite the small size and presentation. My friends ordered hibachi dinners, which were okay. I'd recommend the sushi, sashimi and apps!

I have been there 3x for take out. First time was for Sushi and 2nd was for the entree and my 3rd visit was sushi again.Coworkers referred me here as I am not from the immediate area.I can't recall the names of the sushi I got my first time but it was on the specials list. I enjoyed everything. Getting to place my order was a bit long because I was placed on hold that lasted about 7mins.. Same thing happened the 3rd time I called. I think the front hostess is the one also in charge of taking orders for take out. The salmon entree was ok. I think I rather have a dine in Experience with the non sushi entrees. The presentation in the takeout package was kinda meh. One thing i do wish from speciality sushi menu was more items without cream cheese and/or spicy crab. I don't want cream cheese and as tasty as it is I tried to avoid the imitation crab meat stuff. When you eliminate both, your options are slim. So i defaulted to the nigiri menu which will prob be where I order from next time.

Was unable to experience the hibachi table as I sat for close to 25 minutes and other customers didn't show up so decided to move to a regular table. The food was good (very good taste) however the bill of $50 for one person and no hibachi table chef experience was not worth it. Saw the hibachi chef in other tables and they seem boring from previous experience in other restaurants. Once my food was brought I didn't have utensils and waited for a few minutes to find someone to get me the utensils. They also took long to refill my soda.

Best hibachi I've ever been too. The show is pretty standard but the quality of the food is top notch. Plus, they offer a military discount.My son and I love to get their bento boxes too. But they only offer them on weekdays at lunch and not on holidays. So keep that in mind if you're looking to get a bento box.

The food and presentation is great! But reservation or not, the staff was letting people just jump the line at check in, allowing people they were checking in to stand there for several minutes at a time as they arranged menus. Did not have good organization, and staff members even yelling at each other in front of staff. They were not busy at this time.

I wouldn't waste your time with this restaurant, the management is indifferent at best. I made a reservation roughly a week in advance and received confirmation for it. However the management didn't communicate that to the front of house staff and being told they can fit you in an hour and a half is not an acceptable substitute. As a first experience with this restaurant I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Salmon had rough edges,overcooked. Rice was hard. Cook was quiet and boring. Advice I have for this restaurant is don't get your meat off roadkill you found. The noodles and the salad were good though
