Root Beer Stand

Wonderful service I had a red hot dog that had the best chili on top and smokey hot dog their root beer floor was wonderful. I will be back

K and I are obsessed with drive ins. Since were camping in the area we decided to stop by. Keep in mind we're 3 months into covid so I am sure that we didn't get a precovid feel. We pulled up to the building which was packed! A member of the waitstaff came out took our orders. She was very nice, quick to come over and answered our questions. K ordered 2 hotdogs with chili and cheese. I got a Dixie burger and fried to share. We took them to go and at them at the campground. Delicious! The Dixie burger hit the spot. And the chili dogs were delicious. I would highly recommend a stop by to pick up some classic grub!

Was on the way to colonel Sandro's museum and saw this place local place. I almost missed it. There's no sign but packed with all the locals. It's an old drive up restaurant where the ladies come out and take your orders fast and efficiently. Menu everything under $5. The food was. Old school nothing really to brag about. But efficient and fills you up.

Wow! The prices have doubled this year. Same amount of food. Always great service. Quick service today.

The Rootbeer stand has been a long standing tradition. The Footlong Hotdog, fries, and root beer are my go to order. The only complaint I have is that it is a seasonal restaurant.

This was my first time eating here. You pull up and someone comes to the car to take the order. I ordered a footlong hotdog with onion rings and I of course had to get a root beer float. Price was reasonable. The footlong was delicious and so was the root beer float. I really liked it and the waitress was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Always love the place, but food quality and amount not as good as it used to be. evidently buns are frozen and then thawed out before serving. girls are great!

My husband and I loved this. If you like, small town mom and pop, your grandparents ate here/all the high school students do too/it's cheap, then you'll love this place!!!We ordered cheeseburger, fries, onion rings and the chuck wagon.The cheeseburger amazing real meat and excellent homemade burger. The chuckwagon they said was a steak sandwich but it was a country fried steak sandwich. Really if you've ever been to a Texas DQ And ordered a dude sandwich, that's this......I love them so my husband and I swapped. The onion rings were like Sonic but fried longer and way better. We really liked this place.

If you like old fashioned drive in food it is good. Nothing all that special. The service is good. The waitresses were nice . Depending on the crowd the wait time is not bad. As this is a drive in the ambiance is really not that important but the exterior is a little dirty especially if you park by the kitchen back door. Dumpster smell was also kinda bad! Maybe get it to go!
