Romara Place

My mom and I hosted a baby shower yesterday and the space was beautiful. Clean with pretty lighting and windows. Thanks for this beautiful event.

Romara Place is such a great space!! I discovered it via a friend's baby shower, and I decided to host one of my own with them as well. It is $100/hr, but you are not charged setup and breakdown (which does add up with other venues!). Tables and chairs are also complimentary, just bring 'em up from the basement. You can't tape decorations to the walls, but we didn't find this inconveniencing, and, in all honesty, you don't need a lot as the space itself is already beautiful. Romara is SPACIOUS, as there is the opening room, two standard gathering/eating spaces, a kids' room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. You also get access to the outside, with a gazebo (we used this as our hub for games). Truly my only complaint is the mini frig, as it'd be easier to keep items cool with a larger frig (esp that cake). Otherwise, I found them highly flexible and responsive and the venue itself gorgeous and accommodating!!

This place is as beautiful as it gets. It would make a great place for a wedding and/or reception. Just make sure when you visit,you respect it's beauty and pick up after yourselves.
