My wife Trish and I just spent two lovely nights in the Robinwood Studio. They have a lovely property! The seclusion from Nashville and other guests was just what these two old folks needed. And yet, being two minutes away from Dark Truth Distillery/Restaurant and 5 minutes from all that Nashville has to offer is brilliant! We loved the Studio. The full kitchen, king sized bed, and private hot tub made us feel at home and took all the stress from our day-to-day lives away. Throw in a dog, some chickens, and miniature horses and it's a little slice of heaven. We will be back! Kudos to Lance and his family for what they have created here.

In summary, this is most definitely my new favorite spot to visit. Thanks to the wonderful people running these beautiful cottage like rooms, it makes a trip in Indiana feel like so much more! Also, a lovely old dog name Romeo stole my heart which made it all the better!

This is the best place in all of Indiana. If I moved to Ohio Illinois or Kentucky I would still drive there... to this place. It is phenomenal. And their brunch restaurant is beyond amazing.

This may be the cutest and most unique place I have ever stayed in within driving distance of Louisville. We rented the Treetop cabin for 2 nights and wished we had a full week!We checked in around 4:30 last Wednesday and the key was waiting for us in the loft. I liked the fact that we just got to go right in without dealing with a '"check-in" situation. The decor was obviously well thought out and artistic. The peacock painted in the bedroom was so cool. Everything about the loft was gorgeous- the floors, the ceilings, the king size bed. I enjoyed the private deck and hot tub. It was perfect for a romantic and relaxing getaway. The kitchen has everything you need including whole coffee beans, a grinder and coffee maker. There are lots of animals around. They have chickens and miniature horses that roam around freely. The grounds are so peaceful and pretty. You feel so far away from everyone but it is only about 2 miles from the main village area with all the shops and restaurants. We can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

I don't even know where to begin with the review, because there are so many wonderful things to say about our time in Maybelle's cabin. The cabin was adorable, comfortable and well appointed. When we arrived there was beautiful music playing, ambiant lighting and the smell of a wood burning fireplace(which was the natural smell of the cabin, it was 95 degrees so we definitely were not starting a fire.) The location was a very quick and convenient drive into Nashville. We loved the cozy charm and felt like we stepped back in time, but with all the modern touches, such as air conditioning, satellite and hottub. The kids loved the balcony with floor to ceiling bookshelves with board games, books, and a record player with fantastic vintage records! The grounds were so enjoyable as the miniature horses, chickens, and dogs wonder the property. We had fun interacting with and feeding the owner's pets. Saturday and Sunday stays include breakfast in Nashville at the owner's restaurant The Bird's Nest Cafe. See my review for that amazing place! We can't wait to return again and stay in Maybelle's cabin!

My husband and I decided to rent Maybelle's Cabin for our anniversary. We visited in the middle of the week and were very disappointed to find out that no breakfast would be served. When we arrived we were able to walk right into our cabin and we didn't have to fight with checking in or even checking out. We enjoyed the private hot tub and fire pit as well. It was great to have our own kitchen to make breakfast or enjoy a snack. We never came into contact with anyone else, it was quiet and such a laid back stay. It was a wonderful getaway.

We love the Robinwood Inn! I'm currently writing from the Treetop Loft and am feeling sad we have to check out shortly! Everything is peaceful, from the hot tub to the art room. We loved the surrounding nature and all the animals on site. This place is no doubt the best part of Nashville, Indiana.

PERFECTION.That is the one word to describe a stay at Robinwood Inn! I booked Maybelle's cabin (the most private) for our 30th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been better.Literally every moment spent here was a joy- in fact, we'd planned to go into Nashville one day for the cute shops and artistic history, and hike the last day at the gorgeous state park and we wound up not setting foot off the property- it was just TOO relaxing and wonderful!Tyra and Lance clearly put much love and care into making a incredible place to unwind. Such a deft mix of modern and vintage, done with a light hand- just enough 'decoration' to make it charming without screaming at you from every corner. YOU WILL FIND NO DUCK DECOYS OR CUTE FISHING SIGNS HERE! (a theme that seems to dominate most cabin rentals ;) Highlights:-Hot Tub! We'd never done it in winter and clearly hot tubs were made for winter nights! Fantastic, super clean, and hot!-Animals! We are animal lovers and hanging out with their big handsome pup, Romeo, who visits for treats, and the chickens and miniature horses who live behind Maybelle's were so fun- we fed the horses apples, and watch them meander about their day. And there were visits from a beautiful herd of deer, tons of birds- cardinals, bluejays, juncos, etc. -Thoughtful touches! Our cabin had a record player, and tons of records form the 40's- 80's. We had a terrific time listening to the songs we listened to when we were first dating... a completely delightful surprise!-Modern wonders! Satellite radio -Big band music was playing when we walked in, and it seemed so perfect that when we weren't playing records we were listening to this: it seemed to go perfectly with Maybelles, which was built in the 30's. Sparkling jacuzzi tub, with adorable reading light over it. Big, pure white, quality beds! Well stocked kitchen! Cool vintage pieces! Lovely landscaping- even in winter! -The Innkeepers- We wanted to meet the people who had worked so hard on this terrific place, and we did, and they are awesome. But we could have gone our entire stay without talking to them, if we had wanted to be that private. They arrange everything so that your involvement is your choice- another thoughtful touch!Clearly, I can not say enough good things about Robinwood Inn. We have already decided to make this an annual trip if we can for our anniversary, and to return in milder weather. Brown County is beautiful and has lots to enjoy... maybe next time we'll do some of it... or maybe not! Thank you, Tyra & Lance!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Arrived around 5:00 on a Friday ready to unplug. This place is clean, creative and a must see. We didn't turn the tv on once. They offer massages within your loft and that alone was worth the trip. Cute little miniature horses that love carrots and cool chickens that won't turn down a Cheerio. The sweetest dog and a cute little gray kitty running around. It was like a home away from home.
