Riviera Grill Mexican Cuisine

I love the chips here and salsa is one of best around. Had the Pollo Bandit tonight which was quite tasty. Waiter was a little slow coming to take our order but the food was really fast coming out. As normal the noise was a touch loud but seating in a booth helped to lessen the noise.

Riviera Grill has Excellent food and service. Every time we go there we have no complaints

The Maria's Special is one of the best offerings on their menu. I have had it with shrimp and with chicken and both are very very good.

The food at this location is amazing! The cooks must be working hard. All of the employees are kind and respectful. I've never been to a restaurant with more attentive staff. You can tell they truly care about their clients, especially the regulars. The music isn't too loud and the other guests are always respectful concerning noise. Overall, dining at Riviera is a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone and have recommended. They even cater! When the food is catered, the service, quality, and quantity doesn't fall short of the in-person experience. If you're looking for a fun night out, stop by and experience this restaurant for yourself!

8 years later, this is still one of our favorite places! Consistently good food and service-very friendly! We have never had a bad meal here!

After the monotonous bowling excursion to the local family entertainment center, I needed a nice, quiet, comfortable atmosphere to realign my cognitive chakras - this was the perfect place.On this initial visit, I opted for the authentically named, Burrito Indiana. It was a foot-long steak burrito with rice, beans, and veggies, smothered in white cheese sauce. It was a ton of food for $10. The entire family of four ate for $40, and we all took leftovers home for dinner. The waitress was very attentive and polite. The atmosphere was quiet, featured mexican-styled graffiti and paintings, and had these really interesting faux mini-balconies along the top of the wall. The chairs were carved animals, fruits, and nature scenes - all extremely colorful, collectively working to establish the fun and colorful atmosphere. I saw several offerings on the menu I plan on trying in future return visits. A definite must visit on your next trip to downtown Newburgh.

Still decked out for Christmas with a classy simple tree, Riviera is a quick Mexican meal. There is usually no wait for a table yet the restaurant is always busy. The servers are prompt and the kitchen is fast. I had the vegetarian special and it was exactly what I expected. They also have margaritas on special Friday nights!

I ordered Vegetarian Meal E, with a potato burrito, guacamole, and a Corona beer with a lime. The restaurant serves chips and good salsa while the main course is being prepared for the customer. The guacamole was good, but not chunky like people might expect from a lot of restaurants. The vegetarian plate was good quality with a good amount of food.

Always great food and service. This is a family favorite for lunch or dinner. We always find the food fresh and served hot. Wait staff is efficient and friendly.

Best Mexican food around. They're a bit pricey but portions are huge and food is wonderful. Staff is pretty sweet and accommodating. Love their queso, sometimes I order it just for a snack! Haha. I definitely recommend it
