Vibes: casual, minimalistic; bring a friend or a few to sit at the tables or the long bar Tasting notes:- Ahi tuna: tuna pieces were moderately thick with generous sesame coating; cabbage was crunchy and tender; could not taste the wasabi in the crema; overall a very light dish - Shrimp nachos: generous ratio of shrimp to chips; shrimp were bite-sized and on the saltier side, mellowed by the guac and black beans - Cauliflower: very fragrant and spice-forward; florets were perfectly cooked; loved the crunch and butteriness of the gremolata Other thoughts:- Appreciated the half-pours for trying out unfamiliar wines- Above dishes were satisfying for two moderately hungry adults- Great location with easy parking behind the restaurant Impression: would recommend to anyone looking to try a new wine or two over solid bites!

Ambiance and decor is great . Service was nice presented by Lauren. However ;I had plastic in my meatballs ( they didn't take money off or offer a free drink) They just remade the food . Just a "thanks for catching that and not eating it ." So yeah . It was by far the worse broccolini I I ever had - it wasn't cooked enough or flavorful . Don't be fooled by the sesame seed, it looks great but that's it . The pork belly my partner had was prepared well with the cabbage and pineapple slaw. The cocktails save the day . The menu has changed since I last been . This wasn't the greatest experience by far but looks amazing .

We made a reservation on a week night just because we tried to come before & there was a long wait-- so I definitely recommend a reservation just in case! Service was great, our server was super knowledgeable & attentive! Ripple is a fun little place and the bathrooms are unique & cool as well-- I'd love to come back & sit on the patio! The wine was delicious-- and the food was so good! From small plates to entrees they do not miss. The perogies were so delicious but I think my favorite was the burrata & extra bread. Definitely want to come back!

Love the cozy feel. Service was excellent and food was quick to be served as well as drinks. Did not feel rushed despite having only 1.5-2 hours allowed at the table.

Ripple was the first on my wife and my list of restaurants in our eating Advent Calendar 2023. Each December we try to branch out to broader parts of Cincinnati and try as many unique restaurants as possible. We chose Ripple first on a friend's recommendation and it seemed like a nice way to start to the month. Let me start with the good stuff. The interior is very open, comfortable and inviting. It used to be a bank, and the interior design honors the past with exposed brick walls, old style tile in the entrance, and the bank vault still in place while upgrading the rest to a very warm and nice interior with an open bar area and great lighting and decor. We had a glass of Tempranillo (Spanish) and Malbec (Argentinian) which were very good. They have an enormous list of wines so you will for sure be able to find something that you like. The food menu is very well conceived with gluten free choices and had some unique flare to it. We had the poblano pepper and cauliflower appetizers and they were both delicious. My wife had the scallops with squash puree and they were cooked perfectly and that meal was delicious. There is a pay parking lot adjacent to the restaurant so access was easy. For the not so good.First was our table, which was located at the waiter service counter. You can look at my pictures and see. This was the only table like this at the restaurant, but it was the one we were given so I review accordingly. It has the feeling as if a waiter takes your order, but continues to stand over your table for your whole meal. During the meal, the waiter once leaned over the bar area and slightly over our table to look at something in the room. Later some takeout orders were put next to my wife's head. This can easily be fixed, but for our meal it felt very off-putting. If you go, just ask to not sit at this table and you will be fine.Second, my Salmon was overcooked. I asked for medium rare to medium and it came out almost over-well. Third, our Cauliflower side dish got missed at first and it came out as we were finishing our main course...maybe 15-20 minutes later, with a throw-away "sorry about that". This is an operational issue relative to customer service. If they would have sat us at literally any other table and offered some true offering relative to our Cauliflower desert, this would have been a 4. If the Salmon was prepared properly probably a 4.5-5.

We had a happy hour event for our women's group last night, and I cannot recommend Ripple enough! Service: Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable! Fantastic hospitality! Shout out to Gabriella and Grant!Food: Literally every single dish we ordered was delicious: burrata, baked brie (so good with the honey comb), mediterranean plate, charcuterie, flying pig flat bread, Sicilian flatbread, and this flaky white fish with delicious seasoning.Wine: I had an Albariño, and it was just perfect for the weather, light and crisp. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their wines. The employees were patient and knowledgeable when helping other women select wines. Bonus: there's a parking lot behind Ripple! Looking forward to going back soon!

This place is incredible! The decor, service, menu, are wonderful. The aroma of deliciousness hits you as soon as you enter. The ingredients of each dish are so complex and perfect. I'm on the Mediterranean diet and could eat many things on the menu.

First visit to @ripplewinebar in O'Bryonville and it was amazing. Perfect timing this week, too, because I was able to enjoy their #cincyrestaurantweek menu! Sadly I took a pic of only the main course (scallops) but I also enjoyed the roasted grape salad, and the chocolate torte Also pictured is the Mexicali Smoky Blues cocktail, and the crab cake.

Ripple has always been one of my favorite wine bars, and I was so excited to check out their O'Byronville location. We came for a much anticipated date night. Their cocktail list is so enticing that we each tried one first. I tried the "Sugar Magnolia", it had a touch of sweetness without being too much. My husband tried "Fire on the Mountain ", and if you enjoy whiskey it's worth a try. Later in the evening we also enjoyed a half bottle of Pinot noir. I enjoy having this option, so we were each able to have a bit more than a glass. For food, we started with a charcuterie board. They literally have the best charcuterie boards in the city! We also tried the flying pig flatbread. We really enjoyed it, even though it had a bit too much arugula for my taste. The ratatouille was the crown jewel of our meal. I had never tried it in the puff pastry before and it was divine. Our waitress was attentive and answered any questions we had! All around we had a fantastic night.
