Reno's of Burnside

Visited at 11:30 on Sunday. There were only two other tables with customers because they had just opened. There were several waitresses walking around and going back and forth past us, yet, we sat there for over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we had been seated.When someone finally came over she said she was just taking our drink order but wasn't really going to be our waitress.Finally our actual waitress came to the table but seemed unsure of the menu when we asked about certain items, and had to go ask others for help.Overall, we found the wait staff to be disorganized & not very friendly.The food was just okay. We probably would have enjoyed it more if our service had been better.

We started with loaded fries. They serve them with ranch dressing. It was the perfect combination.We both had their dinner salads. They have plenty of extra veggies. Again, very good. Hubby had fish and chips. Light breading, moist and flaky.Prime rib sandwich. I ordered without the bread, sauteed onions (definitely worth the $2) and baked sweet potato ~ Friday night special for $10.Ask for Stephanie. Excellent waitress, just the right amount of attention.

I was pleasantly surprised!! I had the beef tips and they were probably the most tender I have ever had! Good food, good service! We had planned on going to Texas Roadhouse, but for some reason they weren't going to open until 5 on the day we were there. The tips at Reno's were a lot more tender!!

Nice place to relax and enjoy friends and family. I can always count on perfect service. Wait staff are wonderful. Food never fails. I love the salmon. Fish and fries are good too.

Ordered the rosebud as an appetizer, which was really tasty. Entrees included ribs and a steak. Huge portions - enough to take home for meals later. Service was fantastic. Will definitely return when in the area.
