Perfect addition to The Cov. Great meat selection- but they also offer daily sandwich/soup/salads menu. I'm partial to the Reuben and it's big enough to share but tasty enough you might not want to. They also offer a small selection of other quick pick up items like cheeses/olives/non perishable items and fresh bread from Allez Bakery. Also- the freshly baked brownies were 10/10.

Their rotating sandwich menu will be my new obsession. I don't remember the exact names because the menu rotates and isn't posted, but we tried an Italian sandwich, one with ham and some jelly (I think it was a Christmas special), and one with turkey and a spicy aioli. The bread, the meat, the toppings were all amazing. On the side we got a pasta salad and some Asian style kale salad and they did not disappoint at all. It has a real neighborhood deli feel inside and the staff knew what they were doing. Can't wait to come back and try more!!

Picked up 2 NY strips and they were some of the best I've had from any butcher in the area. Welcome to NKY, Rekas!

I've been there twice and was very happy, impressed and more than satisfied with their service and food! I've tried their goetta, Italian sausage, and prime ribeyes from their meat case.They prepared an Italian deli sandwich which was the best I've ever had from anywhere. I also had broccoli salad and potato salad that was excellent.I will be back for more!

Needed a local top round for some Italian beef. The butcher had the perfectly trimmed/tied roast ready when I got there. Amazing service! There is a huge difference in the quality from a local shop that sources from farms they have relationships with vs a national packer. The price difference was almost the same. Support local farmers and shops.

I usually don't do this, but the comment I received from a staff member really upset me. I went into Rekas for the first time today just to see what kind of meat and products they had to offer. I would have bought some pasta and a giant pretzel if I hadn't received this comment by the staff member. I understand times are hard, but I wasn't mean to this staff member at all. She asked if I needed help with anything and I said it was my first time there, that I had never been there before. I received a really rude comment that makes me not want to shop there. I was on the verge of tears. Like I said I would have bought something, but her comment really upset me. "It's your lucky day, it's $5 to look around today, yesterday it was $10." Then she walked away. I know things are hard and it's frustrating when people just come in to look and not buy anything when you're a small business owners, but I didn't deserve that. I live in Covington and go out of my way to support local businesses in my community. I didn't deserve that. I would have bought something. I'm sorry if I offended you by my comment. Please let me know if you need me to donate for just coming in and looking around. Thank you for reading.

Amazing....... Over the top.... Whether you're stopping by for a quick sandwich or pick up dinner for the whole family it so good. Fresh and top quality. Going to be a local fav really quick.
