Redmond's Garden Center

As a landscape business owner, relationships with my suppliers are important. I've been going to Redmonds for years and have never had bad experience. They've almost always got the selection of plants I'm looking for, and if they don't, they have a substitute that fits the niche. On the financial side of things, they're on par or better than any other nursery in Lexington. The value of service and price give Redmonds its great reputation!

Beautiful greenery and landscaping. There was a large selection of flowers and shrubs throughout as well as stations where they will help you create an assortment basket of what you would like. There were some sales on house plants, but overall I would say it was on the pricey side. I purchased a pot of Arizona Blanket flowers. They are beautiful and I'm excited to put them out. Overall, if you need assistance with your home gardening and landscaping- this is your place.

Gorgeous plant materials, healthy, well grouped, huge selections, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great gift shop for all gardeners with a great variety of gifts and gardening needs.

Wish I would've known about this garden center sooner! Was out searching for lemon grass and no place I'd been in Lexington had any. They had quite a bit and reasonably priced. They also had a fantastic selection of other flowers and plants. Awesome atmosphere as well!

I was recommended to Redmond's by one of my good clients. I've been here twice in the past 2 days, both times I was greeted and asked if I needed help. Both employees were very knowledgeable and didn't get annoyed by my 100 questions while walking around and showing me what I was looking for. I actually already had an order in for 3 trees at 2 Brothers Nursery, but their lack of customer service and unorganized dates for delivery forced me to cancel and look elsewhere. I ended up leaving Redmond's with a weeping snow fountain and will be getting an October glory in my backyard in a few weeks! I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back for some more trees in the future!

Redmonds is awesome. Particularly for landscapers! You can show up and get loaded up quickly and easily. There's no song and dance, there's no looking for employees who can't find their shovel, etc. There are other similar places that are good as well- don't get me wrong!However, when you're in the middle of your work day and you need to pickup more material there's no hassle. Oh and I love the staff too!

I can't stress enough how bad this business is not to mention ethical we purchased 14000$ worth of plants in Sept 2022 and they are dead .We were told they have 2 year warranty for replacement now they refuse to replace saying it was act of God steer clear of this business!!

We have been customer for more than ten years. They are very helpful in selection of plants and offer excellent advice on planting (if you do it yourself) or if they do it. They offer advice and documents on proper care to make sure the plants and trees survive and thrive.

This review is from my experience back in September 2020. I had purchased some plants there around November 2019. Those plants died. I took them back because of the 1 year guarantee on the plants they sell. Here's the issue. They were VERY reluctant to honor the guarantee. The made me feel like it was my fault the plants had died. Then the owner proceeded to lecture me on plant care. I did not appreciate how I was treated at all.

I can't believe I haven't left a review for Redmond's. This is a beautiful garden center with well cared for plants of all kinds. I just bought a spring's worth of annuals but have gotten perennials, shrubs, shade plants, all with good results. Many knowledgeable gardeners available to answer questions. They have good prices, and a nice variety of plants, including unusual plants and all the standards, and healthier looking than some other garden centers.
