Provolone appetizer was good, needs a little more bread with how much cheesy goodness is there. A little disappointed after the reviews were so good. Fried chicken sandwich was an actual big piece of chicken(good) with a nice batter like on fried fish (and not greasy) but needs more flavorful sauces etc. I added some pickles to help. Btw, does anyone really WANT shoe string fries? I don't personally know anyone who does and that's what they have. Table was super wobbly so my wife was mopping up water all the time. Service was friendly but a little thinTurkey bacon pita is a pass...one thin slice of turkey and pita that was burnt on one side, not toasted on the other. I admit a bias since they have Pepsi instead of Coke products.

Service was the best. Very friendly and got us anything we wanted right away. The food was outstanding. Small menu but you don't have to look through pages to decide what you want. Everything was delicious .

We've been several times over the years, and the chef has changed a time or two. However, the food is always amazing, and the service is wonderful. Whether you are dining with a friend, on a date, or out with adult family (not recommended for children, as no child's menu, high hairs, etc), this is the perfect place for a high class meal. Everything is beautifully plated and the desserts are just as yummy as the main course, so I recommend you leave room. Last night, he ordered the pork chop, which neither of us would typically order when going out, but this was the best pork chop either of us have ever tasted. I had the filet, which was perfectly seasoned, along with asparagus and haricot verts, and all was tasty. And kudos to Paige, the most fantastic server!!!

Great place to grab an old fashioned and tasty food! We like to eat in the cozy bar area in the rear of the restaurant. Our bartender Hannah, made us great old fashioneds each visit. The chicken tenders were so good and a nice portion size that we could split. We will be back on our next Madison visit!

While on a recent road trip, we stopped for lunch at Red On Main. Our friendly server did an excellent job, and the chef's special Arancino with grilled shrimp was my wife's favorite dish of our two-week trip. Shout out to the bartender, for delicious, true craft cocktails, as well. We will definitely return for great food, drinks, and service next time we're in Madison.

We really liked the environment. It is a lot bigger than it looks. The service was great and so was the food. Drinks alittle pricey but really good. Bartender was great.

Highly recommend when visiting Madison, Indiana! Exceptional food and not overpriced. Service staff are delightful and very friendly. Restaurant can get quite crowded but they navigate the crowd very well and food comes out quickly.

I paid $45 for a medium ribeye that was served rare/medium rare, and after sending back it came back quickly, but was still under at medium rare. Sides were good, but were not replaced with fresh when my dish came back, which should be a standard best practice, especially when your bill is $200 for 4 to dine.

Food - excellent preparation and presentation, interesting variety of choices.Service - more than adequate, always friendly, but not elegant.Ambiance - nice decor, a bit crowded. Feels special but not luxurious.
