Red Bones

Basic no frills room @$100. Beautiful view of a huge trash dump (j/k) and the accompanied foul smell that goes with it! Super plain room with no warmth to it. Cheap sheets and bed covers. The staff was very matter of fact and not very friendly. Be very careful when taking a shower, the drain is in a weird place and when stepped on it's extremely painful, like stepping on a lego!I can get the same type of room for $70. At an economy hotel Without the pain of stepping on the drain!!! Next trip I will definitely make other Hotel arrangements.

Cold beer and great food make this tavern the go to spot in Montgomery. Try the ribeye on the weekends.

This local favorite has it all! Friendly and fast service, a salad bar, food that even I can eat (gluten free), affordability, and paneling on the walls that took me right back to my small town childhood. There's nothing special about Red Bones but that's what makes it so special! It's the heart of true southern Indiana hospitality and we will always visit when in the area. I recommend going in for dinner and staying late to drink with the locals.

While not a fancy place, the service and the food was superb. The night before I had a steak at the 1875 Steak House at the French Lick resort for $60.00 and it was good, but, not near as good as the filet a RedBones for 1/2 the price. Highly recommended.

Always enjoy Red Bones? Good pizza, very good pork chops. Go after a Barr Reeve for the full effect.

I've stopped in here everyday for the last week and the bartender acts like she just doesn't care. She seems to be doing an ok job of taking care of her local friends, but can't stop by and ask if I need anything. You'll wait 20 min to get a refill and then they won't ask if you want a menu to order food. $2 draft bud light is ok, but they would do a lot better if they would treat everyone equal. I just told the 8 guys I work with not to waste their time here, due to them just not caring.

I'm so glad I got to come to Red Bones and get drinks from the greatest bartender in the world Angie Graber. She got a fat heart and an even fatter ass. She's a saint. God bless and go Vikings
