I don't usually write yelp reviews but I had to for this place. I chose it because it was free delivery on doordash and I'm so glad I did! I got a steak taco, chicken tamale and side of beans. The steak taco was so good and a great portion. I usually stay away from steak tacos because of all the un-chewable fat that is usually in it but I didn't have any pieces like that in this taco! I was so surprised, I wished I had ordered two! They garnished with plenty of cilantro and onions. So good!!The chicken tamale was good as well, served in the corn husk (it felt more authentic ). This was not as flavorful but I think that should be expected with chicken tamales versus pork. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable! The chicken was great quality as well. The beans were beans, but definitely better than the soupy beans that come at El Nopal and other places like. I will definitely order again!!

Number one thing: This is located in the same building as the Salvation Army thrift store. That might make it a bit easier to find. Tried Tenda El Probedor today and had high hopes based on reviews and on the very authentic feel of the restaurant. The folks working there could not be kinder. Extensive menu posted above the counter. There were four of us. We ordered a torta, enchiladas, and tacos. I was disappointed in the salsas. They have green and red and neither of them were particularly spicy. The refried beans were good, but the rice was sort of dry and didn't taste fresh. My carnitas tacos were just okay, nothing special. The pork was not very good and had a lot more fat than I usually find on carnitas. The torta was probably the best of all the dishes. Everyone who tried it liked it. The steak tacos also were tasty according to my friend who ordered them. Tenda El Probedor is okay but not a place I would go out of my way to eat at again.

Muy bien! Delicious flavor, multiple taco meat options, some to brave for me, but the Asada was excellent with basics of a lime, onions and lots of cilantro. So so so very good. The burrito was filled with chicken, beans and rice per our choice, we loved it. Simple menu, drinks in the ice case and the faux sangria nicely cut the heat of the verde sauce.Tricky to find, smells amazing inside and very authentic. Excited about returning.

It has been 5 mon5hs since I came here. Wasn't sure how my girls would feel like it. But they loved it. I tries the tongue ane have to say was impressed on the flavor. Now I will have to try the head taco next time. It hard to eat because of having the sleeve surgery in November. The reason is because y eyes can see more and my taste buds says bring it on!Since my girls like it we will come here more often!!

I had a delicious breakfast burrito but where this restaurant really shines is in the green and red hot sauce. They both have amazing flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive. I also really liked their salt and pepper shakers.

I love this place. Offers the most authentic and delightful Mexican food you can find north of the border. Portions are huge, and the food is amazingly good and is an extremely good value.The people who own it are some of the nicest there are, and if you want to get real Mexican food, this place is always worth the trip.

No. I've heard they have changed things some but when I was there I felt like I was eating in the middle of a resale store.

Rancho Alegre is the best food in town I had the parrillada is a big portion it comes for 1 are 2 1 order feeds 2 person it's delicious

It's a little shop that's expanding because it's doing good business. The tamales were good, the tacos were better, and the cake was fantastic. Several employees of a competing Mexican restaurant were eating at the table next to ours, in uniform. Paying to eat here when they could probably eat free where they work says a lot. I won't go to other Mexican places locally unless this one is closed.

Great steak burrito. Quick, friendly service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
