Went to supper with my son and his wife; had a reservation for 3; arrived a little early. The place was packed with waiting only available. It did take much longer to get seated even with reservations but I guess if it's good you have to wait. "Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet: Aristotle. Was seated about 20 minutes of arrival. Every one was pleasant and helpful. Immediately served with water and drink ordersHad ginger shots and an appetizer. Small focaccia, Punjabi samosa, mint tea, Ordered entrees and was served within a nice timeframe. The decor was so warming and inviting to conversations. The food; appetizers and entrees were all fresh and tasty. Dessert: devils food trifle and caramelized banana trifle. Definitely look forward to coming back in the future.

We had a 4 PM early dinner reservation for a party of 9 on a Saturday with a plan to attend an event afterwards. We each ordered various menu items and service was fast and efficient. I did a repeat of a favorite, the crispy petal salad, which was roasted Brussel sprout leaves, fig, baby lima beans, feta cheese, and tossed with a flavorful dressing. I paired this with a Delirium Tremens beer, which was a refreshing counterpoint to the salad.

First time trying Ramsi's of the World restaurant that is located across the shopping center with Value Market in it.My ribs were tender but I didn't like the bbq flavor. I fixed that by pouring some Sweet Baby Rays on it. My wife enjoyed her food. The service and delivery cost was a big let down. My food was ready at the bar when I arrived and made to wait 20 minutes to get it was outrageous. Since I don't like dealing with parking on a very busy street originally I put it in as delivery but the that added $30 to do that. So I picked it up and parked across the street in the shopping center. The inside is sort of funky to figure out, got lost trying to leave for example. I didn't get the magic so will skip it in the future.

Ramsi's Cafe of the World describes their cuisine as being global comfort food. I'm a fan of international foods, and was really struggling to find something that sounded appealing for dinner. As a Louisville native, Ramsi's has been a place I've patronized many times over the years. It feels like it's been ages since I've had Ramsi's; it caught my eye while browsing third-party delivery services. I reminisced about pre-COVID all-you-can-eat breakfast buffets and was sold on giving it a go.I ordered Salmon Sonesta-Blackened Scottish salmon, sun-dried tomato cream sauce. With mashed potatoes and stir-fried vegetables. The sun-dried tomato cream sauce was the star of this meal. The salmon was cooked to perfection. My only complaint was that the delivery service took too long. This was not the fault of Ramsi's and it wasn't enough to stop me from enjoying the meal cold. The sauce was well-packaged separately and is not in the corresponding photo.

After hearing so many folks rave about the food here, and their versatility of making dishes gluten-free and dairy-free, I finally made it to this establishment.I ordered the Shanghai Stir-Fry with the tamari sauce on the side (this sauce is the gluten-free option they offer for this dish). The dish is very flavorful, even without the sauce, a tad spicy. The vegetables were very fresh and the rice cooked perfectly. This dish could feed 2-3 people, a very large portion for the price. My companion ordered the Moroccan Lamb Chops, a side of mashed potatoes, and a side of roasted potatoes. They enjoyed the lamb chops and mashed potatoes, but was not a fan of the roasted potatoes nor the quinoa that accompanied the lamb chops. All portions of food were very generous for the price point. After viewing the website pics, and their menu prices, I must admit I was expecting the restaurant to be a bit more upscale. My companion and I both dressed up, and were far over dressed for this establishment. We easily could have worn jeans or sweats and blended in just fine. The walkway to the door is uneven, not conducive for walking in heels. The exterior dining area has plastic around it, to close it in for the cooler weather I gather. The restaurant is older but seemed a bit under cared for, and could use some cleaning up.We made a reservation and while waiting to be seated, two people, who were staff, nearly pushed us out of the way to get through, without saying excuse me. At first I thought they were patrons, until I later saw them refilling water glasses for patrons. Theses staff members were wearing jeans and t shirts. All of the staff wore whatever they chose, it was difficult to decipher staff from patron. I suppose all the hype from others was just that, hype. I doubt I will return to this establishment.

Another amazing experience! We had out of town guests with us that we wanted to take a quintessential Louisville spot and thought this would be great. Entrees from all around the world, so everyone can find something they like. We all started w samosas and focaccia, both great. I got the Mr Krabs and it was amazing. Our friends got the peanut-ginger thai noodles and lamb chops and both loved them.

This is where you bring your out of town family so they'll complain about something other than your relationship status. Flavors are solid. Presentation is hit or miss. Prices have increased about 5 bucks an entree since 2021ish. This is all to be expected. Your folks from the sticks will bitch about the price. They'll complain about the fusion foods (though they'll call it something else). They'll fuss about the decor. They are wrong. It's lovely. But don't worry, the whole family is welcome!Your uncle that calls your same sex spouse your "roommate" will be able to order his bud light. The staff may not judge him for this. Don't worry, I will. I'll be the one with the whole Brie appetizer and a glass of wine appreciating the show. Don't worry, Tiger, you got this.

My friends and I came for a late night dinner at Ramsi's, thankful to walk down from happy hour at a nearby bar for a meal. The night was great so we sat the the patio. Servers were also great - friendly and attentive. I got us an appetizer of queso and chips, which is a longstanding favorite. We ate it all and almost ran out of chips. I'd never ordered a burger from Ramsi's before and it was a fantastic choice. The spicy aioli was flavorful and I was thankful it didn't bring a lot of heat. The dish came with home fries that were great to dip too. Sadly my friend didn't have the same experience as me. He took a few bites of his tortellini and stopped eating, saying it tasted freezer burn. When he realized the price he had to pay the the dish, it added to his disappointment. Ramsi's menu continues to be plentiful and gives you a variety of dishes. I truly miss the fajita pita and its absence will decrease the crave I have to stop in. Empress chicken is a close favorite though and still available.

I confess we haven't been to Ramsi's for a while. That being said we are creatures of habit and ordered our favorites. Mr.Krabs(it used to be called Mr. Krab's Grouper) for me and Empress Chicken for my wife. Both were good and both were quite filling. Apparently they are short staffed as our server apologized for not coming around as quickly. To be fair our server had a large birthday party plus other tables to tend to.Our server was very pleasant and friendly. Do note that it's street parking only unless you take a chance on the bank across the street but only when it's after business hours. I do wish they would reinstate the Sunday brunch. I miss that.

Had a reservation at 6 pm on Saturday and didn't get seated until 6:45, which was a little annoying on its own, but made worse by the fact that there is no real waiting area either. Have to stand near the door and dodge people coming in as well as servers passing between the two rooms.Server was great. Short black hair. Cannot remember her name.I was super excited to try this place, but between the wait and the food being just okay, I probably will not be coming back.
