Love going to quills and snagging a table for family time! (Bring your own cards!)Such a great seasonal menus and decor - and the staff is just amazing!The chai latte is the best I've ever had. It's magic!

This is my first visit. Found it online being near the location in which I was driving. Walked in and liked the atmosphere right away. Calm, relaxed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me make a selection on both coffee and a bakery item. Both were very delicious. There is also plenty of seating and a strong Wi-Fi signal. The background soundtrack was absolutely fantastic. Definition of cool. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and sample a little something and hang out for a bit. I like it a lot.

Quills is hands down the best coffee shop in Louisville. Their coffee is the best tasting and they have the coolest shops around. However, recently I bought an iced latte and I asked for a tiny amount of sweetener because I think the normal amount is too much. Then the barista asked me if i wanted it half-sweet or a quarter sweet. I said a quarter. I was still charged 60 cents for this. That is just insulting, and had they told me it would have been full price at the time of ordering I would have refused it. 60 cents for what, less than a teaspoon of syrup? Ridiculous. I can afford the amount but it is the principle of the thing. Have to remove a star for that.

We found this place place on yelp. We parked on the street about a block away. This place is gorgeous inside. It's very asthmatically pleasing defensively picture worthy. When we ordered the staff here was super welcoming and helpful. I went with the barista's recommendation it was a coffee that was in season. My husband got a latte with maple syrup. Our coffees were amazing. This place is extremely relaxing at prices were reasonable. This place is everything you look in a coffee shop. Five stars across the board.

I was in Louisville for a few days for work and when I first got in it was too early for me to check-in to my hotel. After a quick search on Yelp I found this Guills location off Baxter Ave. I headed straight over and found free street parking out front. The space inside was like that of an old home. It was comfy, had its own charm. They also had many, many tables and solid wifi. It was great for getting some work done. I ordered a vanilla latte and found a spot to plug in at. Yes, they had plenty of electrical outlets to juice up your devices. During my visit someone came into the coffee shop that was clearly having some mental health problems, as she was screaming and yelling. While I did have a call scheduled so I had to leave to take it, I had to give it up to one of the ladies behind the counter. She was so patient and friendly with this person, despite how much of a ruckus they were making. The compassion and empathy of this staff member was amazing. I'm sure that was a one-off, but it was a true testament to the staff they have on hand.

Very cool coffee shop. Was thoroughly impressed. Baristas were very friendly. Playlist was heavy on Big Thief, which I personally loved. I tried their seasonal orange latte iced and loved it. Would order that again in a heartbeat. Lots of tables to work from. Parking could be an issue.

Good roaster, well-drawn espresso drinks, decent pastry and bagels, efficient service. Happy customer here!

Wonderful customer service and great coffee too. I tried the medium roast house blend and it didn't disappoint

The Barista's did not know the difference between a cortado and a macchiato Plus what they served was room temperature, not hot #fail

Girlfriend and I stopped by to grab coffee to go while exploring the Highlands neighborhood. She had an iced Americano, and I had the single-origin drip, both of which were fantastic. Eclectic coffeehouse vibe, friendly service, and though we didn't try them, cookies as big as your face. Definitely stop here over one of the national chains.
