If you are a Whiskey fan and looking for something different from the same ol' "Bourbon 101" and story about some old guy's recipe then you need to do The Whole Shebang at Pursuit Spirits.As a Bourbon aficionado, I enjoyed going behind the scenes of this up-and-coming brand. You'll get to taste through their entire line-up of products but the real cherry on top is the pick experience where you get to taste through a whole bunch of barrels and then bottle your favorite.The people are friendly, I never felt rushed, and I walked away with a brand new appreciation for the brand and the craft of blending.This is a Bourbon fan's distillery experience.

What an amazing experience!!!! We had the opportunity to visit Pursuit Spirits during the 150th KY Derby trip. We were supposed to be here 2020 but of course Covid happened... so we made it happen this year. We brought a group of six of us here after learning about it through their Bourbon Pursuit podcast. We did the Whole Shebang Barrel Selection tour. We had six from the barrel tastings, all were awesome. From there, we had the opportunity to each thieve a bottle, cork it, put all the labels on it and name our bottle. We were lucky and had two other great groups that joined us, we were a total of 14 people. Pursuit Spirits will plan on moving next to Bardstown downtown sometime in the fall but will also keep this location. Excited to check it out when we return again! Kenny Coleman, the owner was able to visit with us while we were there, which was so cool. So down to earth. Also, I want to give Kenny props for donating two experiences to Pursuit Spirits as a part of our KY, Louisville package we put together for the Richmond, Virginia Heart Ball not even knowing us. Thank you Kenny for your generosity.

I have to been on many bourbon tours, experiences, etc. Pursuit Spirits stands out because after you taste a selection of their bourbons, you get to fill your own bottle directly from the barrel. You can choose one barrel or mix to your taste. The staff was excellent and entertaining. My only complaint, if it is a complaint, that it would be nice to have some kind of container that allows you to measure ratios for when you want to mix bourbon barrels to get your desired taste.

To be clear - this is not a distillery. Nice guys, decent blended whiskeys, basic warehouse facility. We did the entry level tasting and it was a nice experience. Definitely very intimate - there were only three of us, plus the guide. Taking one star off because it was a little pricey.

Can't say enough good. My son and I did the Whole Shebang - it was just the two of us. John, our host, treated us like family. He led us through an amazing tasting experience, which allowed us to sample numerous spirits at our own pace. John isn't just knowledgeable and hospitable, he is truly an ambassador and steward of the craft, culture, and tradition of distilling and spirits. This place is relaxed and low-key, but the bourbon they are putting out should be taken seriously as being on-point in all aspects. Amazing.

My Fiancé and I got the opportunity to do the whole shebang tasting and barrel pick. What an awesome experience. Tim was a great host and very knowledgeable. If you're in Louisville and have some free time this is the experience to try. We even got to meet Kenny and Ryan from Bourbon Pursuit. Really cool experience. Can't wait to visit the new space next year.
