Purdees coffee - coffee is coffee but I really do appreciate having a warm and comfy/cozy place to go and hang out w/my friends. I only recently discovered the upstairs lounge area. The folks who work there are so kind, professional and polite. A real rarity these days. Both locations do a great job with customer service, creative coffee drinks and amazing quiche! Pretty decent breakfast menu, limited lunch menu. I get a different type of drink every week and have never been disappointed. A Richmond favorite for sure!

I fooled by the reviews and came... it was the worst bagel sandwich , no flavor, saggy bread , bacon wasn't even cooked properly

Purdys (either location) is such a great spot to grab coffee from a local spot. The drink and bakery options are wonderful and there's always service with a smile. It's a favorite spot for everyone in our house.

Lovey atmosphere and kind service. The coffee was quite tasty and exactly what I wanted. I can recommend the breakfast bagel sandwich! It was yummy and filling. They have a good selection and fair pricing. The variety of the seating is nice, as is the game selection. Everything was clean and the upstairs was being rented for a party. I found parking to be easy. I was inspired by the walls. And it was a great noise volume that enabled conversation!

The drinks here are absolutely delicious. Ordered the Russian sawmill, a take on a spicy chai. Hands down the most delicious drink I've ever tasted!! We also ordered the farmhouse breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was really good, however the bagel was a bit stale on the bottom so it was a harder to eat. Overall, 10/10 experience. The people we encountered were insanely kind!!

The downtown (inasmuch as this one main street is a downtown) location of Purdy's has some differences from the one that's a little bit more isolated. This one has a historic old building atmosphere. It also doesn't seem to have quite the same food options; serving only breakfast and apparently no salads or sandwiches. My brownie came with a corner missing, perhaps because of its crumbly texture, but was warm and melted and quite indulgent. My chai latte tasted similar to the one I got at the other locations, with some rich syrup (butterscotch, perhaps), complimenting the spices and tea. I thought the other location made it a tad bit better, but both locations were nice. This one doesn't have a drive-through.

Located in the cute downtown Richmond, the perfect spot to stop in and work at one of their many tables or catch up with a pal. Their cold brews and cappuccinos are never a wrong choice with many syrup flavors available to make every drink a little bit unique.

Purdy's is the best small establishment coffee company in town! Their lavender lemonade is great for a hot sunny day and the baristas are always super friendly! I will be back soon!

Overall: 3 stars for service and seasonal alone. Food/Drinks: Each time I've visited Purdy's the iced coffee has been terrible. It tastes like canned green beans. Their raspberry white chocolate mocha and lavender lemonade are both great.Service: The service is wonderful. Considering the price and dissatisfaction of the iced coffee, I asked for a refund. They refunded me my money and remade the drink however, it was no better. Stick to Starbucks and Dunkin for coffee, speciality and non coffee drinks are great at Purdy's.

Cute coffee shop. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Prices fair. Only had a latte which was yummy. Had some fun seasonal flavors.
