Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant

The only reason I am not completely slamming this place is because the service was so good. We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Before we had even settled in we were presented with warm chips with a tasty bowl of salsa. Our waiter was very nice. The table next to ours was watching videos on a loud setting which I found very annoying. Then the food came. I'm actually wondering if the usual cook was off for the night. I live in a town that offers so many really good options for Mexican food. My husband's chimichanga was not a chimichanga. My chile relleno was stuffed with American cheese (?!?!). We decided not to order dessert because I couldn't handle any further heartbreak. The place was packed so that's why I'm wondering if it was an off night or if that's just what passes for good Mexican food in this town.

Traveling and wanted a place to eat a healthy, non-fried, non-sandwich meal. I figured i get the taco salad, but then thought tortilla soup might be good. So glad I tried it! It was great!! Large bowl, me. Rice in the bottom, fresh avocado, homemade tortilla strips. Wow, so good!!FYI - this is a clear broth tortilla soup not the red broth. I don't know why it matters, but sweetie is always looking for the clear broth.

Always good food with large menu . clean restaurant and friendly staff and the Salsa is fantastic.

We were in town camping for our anniversary weekend and decided we needed dinner out. We both ordered the fajita quesadilla (him chicken, me steak) and loves them. Nice little, hometown place

Very busy on a Thursday night. We were greeted and seated right away. They took our drink order as we were being seated. Some of the group was not ready so the brought some drinks and took the other drink orders immediately. We ordered shortly after drinks had arrived. We received chips and sala and everyone at the table loved the salsa. Food was received quickly and everything was hot. I had a cheese enchilada and sauce was very tasty. Spouse order the fajitas pina and loved the dish. Others in group ordered fajitas and was very happy with the meal. Service was excellent

We stopped here for lunch today. This is a really good Mexican restaurant in Scottsburg, IN. A quick jump off of I65 in southern Indiana. We ordered off of the lunch menu, but the rest of the menu had a lot items that I would have loved to have tried. The food was very flavorful with background notes that were quite unexpected. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Th place had a very nice looking bar. The margaritas were priced quite reasonably for what we saw being served. But still having a ways to drive they were not ordered at our table. The owner asked us how we liked our meal and I told him that I'd be in several times a week if I lived anywhere near here.

The service is very good, which is why I am giving three stars. The food was not good. We had a large party of 16, and the servers were especially attentive. They had a huge sombrero, fun birthday song and free dessert. I ordered the Puerto Vallarta Special Nachos pictured. They were not good quality. The fajitas looked pretty good though. It was a nice place to accommodate a large party but the food quality was lacking.

Service and food were both great! Service was not only good but super fast. And the burrito fajita was so good!

Great meal. Chili verda had a good amount of heat and the mixed fajitas were great also.

We stopped while traveling and mecican sounded good. The food is great quality and if great. The salsa is the best we had ever had!!!
