Who in their right mind would $25 on a large pizza that is only 12"? Are you kidding me!!! Never again. What a huge waste of money. Besides the exorbitant cost, the pizza was no better than any other pizza place in the area. Basic in every way. How this place gets voted best in Northern Kentucky is beyond me.

Not the best, but not the worst. We ordered Poseidon's Pizza for pick-up on a Thursday night, and had a positive experience placing our order online and picking everything up. Our food was ready in less than 30 minutes - and the location of this restaurant was easily accessible for takeout.We ordered a medium Hot Honey pizza, a medium GOAT pizza, and some garlic knots. The garlic knots were fluffy with a nice crust, but they didn't have much flavor to them. You're provided with some garlic butter sauce to dip them in, but we got more butter than garlic, and were left a little disappointed. Of the two pizzas, the Hot Honey was definitely the favorite, although I wasn't picking up much of that hot honey flavor. Instead - it just tasted like a solid pepperoni pizza with a crispy crust and a sweet tomato sauce. I also ordered a side of their ranch for dipping, and thoroughly enjoyed this housemade sauce. The GOAT didn't quite live up to its name - while I'm all for a fully loaded pie, there were so many toppings that the cheese (and everything else) slid right off when we picked up each slice. After reassembling, we noted again that both the crust and sauce were quite tasty, and that the bacon was quite crispy. That said, the sausage bits didn't really bring that classic meatiness we were hoping for, and I ended up picking them off. Both of our pies weren't sliced all the way through - meaning we had to pull out our own pizza cutter and finish the job ourselves. I'd be open to giving Poseidon's Pizza another try - but I think I'd definitely switch up our pizza order, and probably leave off the Garlic Knots next time.

Well, like a sympathetic fool I decided to try this place again. What a mistake after several attempts to order online failed I finally called this disaster after the call dropped multiple times I finally got the privilege of being put on hold. Finally Jeff Spicoli answered as I attempted to muddle through Jeff's marijuana haze he took my order. As I was not going to trust a delivery I decided to pick up based on the time frame Spicoli gave me. Upon pick up at the advised time I was told my pizza was not ready. Funny thing when I got it it was cold so ready to this pizza place is Luke warm, when I got home I took one bite and decided a ritz cracker with some Ragu sauce would be better. Please whatever you do go buy a frozen Tombstone before you try this turd pile. I know a good a bankruptcy lawyer you are gonna need them.

I do not recommend this place. Purchased gift cards right before it switched hands and was assured they would transfer. The new owners will not honor them and quite frankly we're very rude about it. Sad to see the old owner gone as he was much friendlier. You would think they'd want to retain old customers. I'll never spend another dime at Poseidons. Sad to see the customer service left with the previous owner. If you want deep dish pizza, go to Bourbon House. They will treat you much better there

Just got carry out from Poseidons Pizza. The Joe Burrow and cheesy bread knots. Outstanding. Food was ready on time and was delicious. Fast pick up. Reasonable price. Next time will be a deep dish!

We didn't plan on trying Poseidon's, but decided to after our go-to deep dish pizza place was slammed on a Saturday night, during Pizza Week no less. We tried their Deep Dish Pizza with Pepperoni & Sausage and their Pepperoni Pizza along with an order of Garlic Drips. The Garlic Drips were definitely overly exaggerated in their description. They're just plain balls of bread. Due to the name we had expected it to be dripping in garlic butter, but instead it just came with a tiny side of the butter. Now, onto the pizza. The Pepperoni Pizza good while the Deep Dish was sparse on its ingredients we would have liked more cheese & pepperoni and would have given it only 3 stars, BUT the sausage and sauce were amazing. They were so flavorful that it really helped save the whole dish. For being disappointed that we couldn't have the pizza that we originally wanted for dinner, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavor-packed punch that Poseidon's delivered.

We had generally enjoyed our experience until the last time (several months ago). We ordered 2 subs and they called and said they ran out of buns. No problem. After offering me the equivalent in pizza, I declined and asked for my credit card purchase to be credited. They agreed. It is here where they fell way short.So the charge was on my card for a week and the credit never came through. I disputed the charge with my bank and Poseidon's still was fighting me that they fulfilled their service (even though I made it quite clear they did not).Ultimately the bank sided with me and gave me my credit under protest by Poseidon's. It wasn't a huge amount and we were regular customers so it's quite shocking when a business calls a customer a lier. So it's over but we will NEVER return as a customer again
