An adorable diner off the state route that is filled with charm. We stopped here for breakfast while taking a journey to a nursery from Indy. I'm a sucker for diners and this hit all my needs, coffee, eggs, potatoes and crispy bacon. The menu has all day breakfast, and lunch options. Prices are super reasonable and the staff was so friendly - I'm sure they generally know everyone so it was a nice atmosphere. You seat yourself, a server will grab your order and the food came out very fast. Eggs were flavorful and the bacon was crispy and not soggy(and I didnt ask for extra crispy this time). If you are in the area stop and check out this gem!

I was searching Yelp for a place to eat in the Greensburg area. I was sold on Pop's when I saw a photo of Pop's winning a fried tenderloin competition. Fried pork tenderloin is Indiana's claim to fame as for food goes.First of all, there was like one waitress running the dining room and the cash register. So it took a while for her to get around to my table after I sat down. When she did though, I was ready! Sweet tea was surprisingly pretty sweet for Indiana. The tenderloin was bigger than the bun it came on. But it was the 2nd best tenderloin I have had in the state. The origin of the tenderloin, Nick's Kitchen in Huntington, is the best I've had. But this gave it some competition. I chose slaw to come with it and that a decision I regretted quickly as it was overwhelmingly mayo-ey. I like creamy slaw but it was too much.It seems like there are lots of choices for pie. I chose the peanut butter one and it did not disappoint. If you have a hankering for a tenderloin sandwich near Greensburg, I recommend Pop's.

I'm always looking for a hole-in-the-wall place for breakfast when I travel and again, Yelp did not let me down. This place is 10 minutes off either I-74 Greensburg exit. Enjoyed listening to some of the locals share their stories. Staff was friendly and the food was very good.

Pop's Diner, years ago used be called Big Johns. It isn't fancy but it is clean. Only been there for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are very good. If fact everything I have had there in my 10 or so visits has been pretty good. The prices are "okay" not as cheap as say Waffle House but not as expensive as Big Boy. I'm told their lunches are pretty good. I will update this once I try them out. All in all Pop's is worth the short drive from Greensburg (6 miles)

Excellent breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff. My husband and I each had a western omelet. We opted for the #6 that includes toast and potatoes. Yum yum yum. You should stop in.

Smaller diner on the road - food like your mom might cook for you. Good burgers, enjoyed the BLT, really well prepared onion rings. Other great sides as well. Great homemade chocolate shake served by friendly staff. Awesome selection of homemade pies!

Worst plate of food I have ever had served in a restaurant to me. Service was rushed and uncaring and there was zero follow up as there usually is. Folks...this place is not how you may remember it when it was good....your better off at McDonald's at least the prices are fair and the food is edible and if it's not...they make it right with ya... unlike here.-Disgusted

Greensburg is halfway between Indy and Cincy, so we chose it for a meet-in-the-middle breakfast to pass back a visitor. Pop's Diner was the small town non-chain we were looking for! Two of us got Platter #1, and the eggs were just right - I like mine fried hard, break the yolk, and my friend ordered hers over medium. My country ham was grilled to perfection, and the country fries were hot and crispy. My sister got the 3 egg omelet and it covered the whole plate. Angel and Monica tag-teamed the fairly busy dining room with plenty of friendly smiles and hot coffee!

As a resident of a small town in Madison, Indiana, stopping for an unfamiliar diner in Greensburg is super hard since everything we have in Madison, you see everywhere in Greensburg like Big Boy, Taco Bell Breakfast, and the anything but unfamiliar hash brown and a sweet tea from McDonald's. Having no choice our family stopped there, yet was unsure based on the gas-station esque outside. We went in and were wrong the whole time. The service was friendly, and the tables always made sure to have ketchup and jelly by them and were friendly enough to pre-butter the toast and asked how we wanted our eggs. Unlike Bob Evans, they made no exceptions and made it sunny side up like I asked. There was so much to choose from, food and drink on the menu, and friendly staff stopping by, and e even asked if we wanted refills when our drinks were half full. Good food, good staff, everybody there knows each other= great restaurant. Be like me and don't let the outside of things fool you.
