UPDATE: Second visit to Pints & Union tonight. Friendly and quick greeting at the door. Decided to sit at the downstairs bar this time. Friendly bartenders. Drink order was taken quickly.Decided to try the hummus with naan this time. It arrived quickly and was very good. Would definitely order again. The proper sized pints are wonderful! Prices are very reasonable for drinks. Got a Guinness without a Notre Dame logo this time. Had the opportunity to use the bathroom this visit. Happy to find a clean bathroom with good lighting and all the necessary stuff in stock (e.g., toilet paper, soap, hand towels). Really good variety of music tonight (did not hear any commercials this time). Music wasn't too loud and you could hear it, which created a good vibe. The downstairs bar definitely had a more comfortable vibe (compared to upstairs bar). Stools had no backs but were very comfortable. While I am accustomed to TV's playing some kind of randomness at bars, it was nice to have no TV distraction tonight. Definitely will go back. I really appreciate all the hard work that went into updating this place. [Side note: personally not a fan of taxidermy or hunting but completely understand that it is historical and common in many cultures.]If you have not been to the Highlands Pints and Union yet, go check it out!

So happy that Pints and Union opened in the Highlands! They always have a great selection of beer. They offer a rotating selection upstairs. The Union burger is so tasty, with a side of the spicy coleslaw. The food is served quick and hot. Lots of seating, upstairs and down. They have a cute little seating area, with a fireplace up front where the brewing area was previously. We enjoy sitting at the bar chatting with the owner/bar tenders. The staff is friendly and efficient. Again....welcome to the Highlands!!!

As soon as you open the doors to Pints and Union you realize, this isn't your regular local bar. Even if I'd never been to an English pub, I'd imagine this would be the closest I'd get to an authentic one.Packed with charm, a mixture of furnishings , original flooring, and interesting wall decor, I felt this is where you'd go to have a nice cold point and wait for all of this to blow over. Now, to get to what you're probably looking for, the food. Let's establish that as the menu says, this is a curry house, if curry isn't your speed, there are plenty of options. Our table enjoyed the Scotch Eggs, fish and chips, hummus and burgers. Everything was excited nicely. Fish was crispy and of large portion, the scotch eggs were flavorful with a nice "schmear" of a mustard sauce that was tart but not overpowering. My girls loved the burgers. I hope to try their stews at some point. The only glitch we had in service and it wasn't even a glitch, was that we had to ask for the ketchup and our server more than made up for that. If that's a problem, I'll take it. With any opening, grace should be given to allow for things to settle in. I look forward to many nights looking out onto the streets of Bardstown Rd from a cozy corner of the bar.

We were fans of Pints and Union when it was in IN and are so thrilled it's on our side if the river now! This is a perfect spot for them, it's so warm and cozy inside. Our food and drinks were wonderful abd the service was great. I didn't get a chance to see what the upstairs looked like so we will definitely be back!

Some of the kindest staff in all of Louisville. As an Irishman born and reared I felt very at home in a cozy snug pub vibe, with wooden furnishings and a dart board in the corner. The food was excellent, and a lot lighter than I thought it would be. Definitely not as greasy as you'd expect from typical pub grub. Highly recommend the spice bag and wish I could have extended my trip and tried the vindaloo! Plenty of variety in the menu, with frequent specials too. Come for the libations and food, stay for the atmosphere - you will feel right at home!

So I have enjoyed Pints & Union since they were in the original location. I was excited when heard they were coming to Bardstown Rd. There is so much to love about this place. For me, the stand out is the ambiance. The new location is very cozy and reminds me of a pubs that I sat in when I was in Ireland. I really enjoy the food and most of all I get to enjoy my favorite beer there. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to many more visits.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and I'm so glad we checked it out! Eclectic pub atmosphere with tasty food, good rotation of beers and friendly staff. Fries were perfectly seasoned and a nice little change up with a curry ketchup dipping sauce. Can't wait to go back to experience more of their menu and try out their Thursday Trivia night.

I was a fan of Pints⋃ in their old location, but I am thrilled to have them in Louisville now! We were able to finally go for dinner and were greeted by a friendly staff and warm environment. We have been looking for that "pub" atmosphere and they have nailed it! The beers were great, and the food was amazing. The Chicken Spice Bag may be my favorite thing there now! My husband got the spicy schnitzel sando and my daughter got chicken vindaloo that was a little spicy but she loved every bit. I got the special beef stew and it was so good I barely needed the bread. We can't wait to make it back!

We came into Pints & Union on a snowy night over the weekend and the place was full of such good energy & happy people. We were warmly greeted (by smiles & the aroma of delicious food) and encouraged to sit whenever we liked. We headed upstairs and were immediately impressed by how they redecorated/designed the space...It was more functional and extremely cozy. The upstairs bar area is now fully functional, so that's where we ordered our food & drinks. There were 4 of us in our group. We all ordered something different and each of us loved our selections (Cheeseburger, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Fish n' chips & Tikka Masala). Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. Best of all, the beer was ice cold and the food was delicious!! (And did I mention how friendly the staff was?!)We were excited to try Pints & Union because we've heard great things and we also love the new location, but they had big shoes to fill considering how much we enjoyed the previous establishment. Honestly, Pints & Union nailed it!! They made such a great first impression that we're already looking forward to our next visit!See y'all there!!
