This is a good little neighborhood hardware store. For it's size, it has a good stock selection. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy and when they don't carry something, they are fine with recommending another store that might. All your typical smaller household repair items are here-- light bulbs, air filters, hoses, rakes, hand tools etc. You're not going to find large building materials like wood, fencing and such but for everyday repairs, they should have what you need. Tip: They have parking behind the building that is accessible from Kenneth Ct which is the little street off Southside between the liquor store and the hardware store. Pain the butt to make a left out of back onto Southside Dr but circling around and exiting at Kenwood at the light is easier.

This place is awesome. All the staff is friendly and know how to help. Very organized. They have a very large variety of stuff so I never have to make a trip somewhere else.

Great service and knowledge! Was looking for a shower valve replacement & these guys were fantastic at helping me figure out the valve & manufacturer. Phelps didn't carry the oddball but helped me in ordering the valve online. Service you can't get at a box store.

About a year-and-a-half ago I want to know to buy some hose clamps grab some off of them the hook two different sizes besides wasn't super important to me just needed a big and I kind of bigger one the guy acted like iced old one off of some other part is a hole and tried to bet he was being very rude this is the owner I'm talking about so with plenty of options I decided not to go back fast forward to yesterday I was out on bikes with my son and we now have less options for Hardware story was looking for some small light bulbs DC and pictures if they had them to restore a really old bicycle went in once again was met with rudeness told did they didn't have anything like what I needed even as we passed a rack full of exactly what I asked for when I started to look through that with the guy that work there standing right next to me before I could even get to what I wanted he suggested I go somewhere else and purchase them to which I said thanks I will as I muttered out the door I have never in my life met someone to own a business to talk people out of buying things from terrible people with terrible attitudes and it said so nice hardware store in his brother which owns one on Dixie steps his store with nothing but helpful people but if you ask me for my dollar I wouldn't by The Cure from cancer from those kind of people
