Perico's Mexican Restaurant

I've been dreaming of the food here every day since I ate here.I never thought I'd find some of the best Mexican food I've ever had...in Paris, Kentucky.Let's get to it. Tacos al carbon - some of the best tacos ever. Charred steak with a queso sauce, wrapped up tightly in a tortilla. The flavor is bonkers.The queso dip is amazing - I got it as a starter too. Chip after chip was dipped. The salsa is fresh and delicious.They have a spicy green sauce that's really good with chips as well. And they have another green sauce that they use as a salad dressing that's amazing on everything. Margaritas are huge. And delicious. Nice selection of craft beers as well.

Last meal of 2023... We went to Perico's Mexican restaurant in Paris KY with my family. Free chips & dip. Food came out fast. We all left there stuffed.

We stopped after being in town for a tournament around the corner. The service was good but the food was very bland and dry.

I had carry out from here several months ago that was really good. I wanted to dine in before rating so I could get a real sense of the place. We stopped in for lunch today and it was not that special of an experience.The restaurant is clean, the decor is typical. The service was a little lackluster. The servers were not that outgoing or friendly, we had to ask for tea refills because nobody checked back on us once we got our food. We each only got one paper napkin, in a Mexican themed restaurant that seems odd. Usually you get left a stack of napkins for the inevitable spills or mess. Last but certainly not least- the enchiladas and my wife's quesadilla had mozzarella cheese topping them.There was melted white queso for the chips, but the cheese toppings on the entrees wasn't right for the meals. It was strange, stringy and not at all what one would expect. Probably not going to try the fare at this place again anytime soon.

Outstanding locals Mexican spot w/ a very cool decor! Hand-carved colorful wooden tables, chairs, excellent menu & service. Honestly, I was shocked being lost in the middle of the beautiful Kentucky farmlands. Now, my all time favorite that I am craving to get back to! I'm hooked on the Steak Burrito Fajita, w/ no onion or bell peppers. Also their green hot sauce is spicy, unique & tasty! My new fav that I get for the rest of the year lol! The night before, I had another super dish called the Camrones Al Mojo De Ajo. Crispy shrimp, lightly fried in garlic olive oil w/ a side of rice & beans w/ two slices of bread. I prefer the refried beans after trying both kinds. Also the Salsa & chips are bland for my taste, but that's a good thing so I don't get full before the main course. Totally worth the drive for me every time I'm in the Lexington area.

Service was fine. Restaurant was clean. Don't order the taco salad from the lunch menu. Not good at all.

I was told by coworkers that manger came from jalapeños in Lex? We had a great meal with good flavors.I'm really burnt out on Mexican, But this place has a really good menu that town north of her doesn't have.The refried black beans & Camarones were very good.There in middle of remodeling & it 90 something outside, I was starting to get warm inside before we left. Hoping to remodeling is finished this will be ok.

We ordered to go. First two of our four entrees were wrong and my husband was missing his salad. My husband took the food in to be replaced/ fixed. When we got home those two entrees were half the amount of food they should have been. I called and no one there cares.

Amazing ribs at Pericos restaurant I discovered by mistake the are so good and soft and juicy one of my favorite items on the menu And they deliver food to you wow what a good experience
