Pelle's Cafe

Cute little bar/grill. It was fun to look at all the funny signs they had about the place. Our drinks were nicely poured. I had to try their famous deep fried hamburger and it was yummy! Never saw anything like it before. My husband got classic burger and enjoyed it. They have a place to sit outside which would be nice in cooler weather. It's a place that reminds you of the old days which is what I love!!!

Great atmosphere! Tasty, delicious and filling green olive burger turned out to be the best meal I've had in Kentucky to date. I will be back! I want to add that the 4 people I met while dining were incredibly friendly. This makes me want to come back and spend a few hours.

Burgers, wings and cold beer, that's pretty much it, except for some sides that's the menu. Great burgers! And, the Pelle's deep fried burger is a sight to see. Tables outside and a bike rack to welcome the Cyclists on KY 8 and Four Mile Rd, or those who enjoy the fresh air.

I wasn't expecting much about this place but Iwaspleasantly surprised by what I found. It's a classic corner bar : small, darkish. steeped in local history & flavor, food that tastes good but is not exactly for good for you and a blind dog names Socks who is welcoming & friendly. I got the deep fried hoagie with fries and enjoyed every messy, gooey, savory bite of it.If it doesn't get too crowded, I may make this my Bengals game watching bar.

Literally one of the best deals and coolest out of the way places in Cincinnati. Love this food. A must visit. Put this on your list.

Great neighborhood bar that serves good food. Homemade fries + burgers, but the star of the show in my opinion is the deep fried hoagie. This thing is MASSIVE. Good flavor and good toppings (pickles + onions) make this well worth the drive from our office to have a good lunch. Will def be back.

The interior of this bar is stuck in the 1980's, but in a good way. It was an amusing stop for a Saturday afternoon. We drove by and said "We have to check this place out, I mean look. Pelle's Cafe is attached to Pelle's Tax Service. It has to be a good place, right?"The price is definitely right! $2 for any drink, except for one (can't remember which one) that's $2.25 - the extra quarter might be worth it, but it is CASH ONLY. The bar tender was friendly, and some dude was setting up hot dogs. I'm not sure if there was a special party/event, but we did notice him grilling on an actual grill outside when we were leaving.If you do not like smoke, do not go here. I was a smoker, but the amount of smoke in there was really hurting my eyes. I unfortunately will not likely go back for this reason, otherwise, it's worth visiting!

Pelle's...oh Pelle's! We stopped by this unassuming dive bar almost as a joke after hitting up the Silver Grove Dairy Bar. It's dark exterior with no windows and creepy bud light signs flickering in the distance drew us in. Once inside you are greeted with a cloud of smoke and a raspy voiced bartender. "We got bud, miller, coors" she says, "all two bucks." We grabbed a brew, headed to one of the plastic covered bingo-hall type table tops and began admiring this incredible decor. From fo-exposed brick painted on the wall to pictures of athletes from the 70's this really is a dive bar in it's truest form. If you can stand the smoke, this is great stop, if not avoid it like the plague.

Great food and delicious! Everything I've tried so far was good and served quickly. The patrons at the bar were kind and fun as well as the employees at Pelle's. I've only been here once but I plan on returning soon.

This place is awesome. Old neighborhood dive bar, no pretense no bullshit. Righteous prices friendly people and a great old dog. Thursday is steak night, grilled steak and a baked potatoe and 11.25! Only downside is beer only and my wife doesn't drink beer.
