Pearl Street Taphouse

Dined here for lunch last week, and would highly recommend. I work in Downtown Louisville, but this was an extremely easy trip across the 2nd Street bridge, right off the Main Street. Plenty of on street parking, and parking in a private side lot. It's a small house that's been converted to a taphouse and restaurant. When I arrived it was open seating, with high tops, six tops, bar counter and a few two seaters. The menu was presented in a heavy wood binder, and includes bar appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc.Many items appealed to me but I ended up ordering the turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries for $12. My only complaint was the seats by the door were in a constant breeze from the front door opening and closing. Food arrived relatively quickly and I was extremely happy with my sandwich. It was on a wheat berry bread, with a good portion of meat and fixings. The sweet potato fries looked freshly made, and came with a sweet dipping sauce. The sandwich hit the spot and I would order it again. Next time I want to try their C.R.A.C.K. Salad, wings and big pretzel.

We come here every time we're in the Jefferson/Louisville area. It's probably our favorite bar! It's set in a house and upon entering, you're greeted with tons of seating and friendly staff. We always opt to sit at the bar, but there is also tons of outdoor seating- and sometimes, there's a fire pit that's going! We've never gotten food from here, but I know the menu is extensive and we always consider when we come, but the drinks here are always so good! Lots of selection, and when we came the first time, the person helping us was so patient and helped us find something we liked. He might actually be the reason why I know what kind of drinks I like now! Flights are available for about $20+ which is a great option too if you're experimenting!

Loved this little gem! Service was fantastic! The old fashions were spot on and our food hit all the notes. I had the Crack salad and soup of the day (chicken & sausage gumbo). I like salads but the Crack salad I loved... apples, pears, cashews, house made poppy seed dressing... so good! The gumbo was spicy and lots of chicken & sausage. My husband had the BYOB burger with waffle fries... a wagyu patty dressed your way. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. Pearl Street Taphouse is a new favorite

We went on a Tuesday night around 8:00pm. There were a few others there & it was a nice chill vibe. I'm sure it can get pretty busy. We started out with the pretzel & I 100% recommend that. It's one of the better pretzels we've had. They have a few different cocktails to choose from that sounded good. I got Jepcho Bloody Mary spicy & it had a good flavor. They also have a great selection of beer to do a beer flight. My chicken wings were pretty good. I prefer mine with classic Buffalo so I'd probably ask for hot sauce next time. My husband got the Cuban on their limited fall menu. He liked it & said it had good quality meat. They have a very unique fall/winter menu they said people wait all year to come out. We got dessert to go for our anniversary. They have different desserts I believe on different days. We got the turtle cheesecake & it was really rich but good. Service was great & overall it was a nice time. We'll definitely go back sometime to try other things.

Went about an hour before they closed. Ordered a side of fries which was generously portioned and a good price. Lots of draft beer options, but prices not listed anywhere. I don't like buying anything without knowing the cost. Thought our beers were a little pricy, but there atmosphere and fries made up for it. Will definitely go back.

Such good food! Great drinks! Excellent small town vibe in this little Pearl Street house.Service is always impeccable and that says a lot.This a wonderful gem, that serves up Crack Salad and juicy burgers for the win everytime. Also fun to check out each season for what is new and limited on their menu. LOVE IT!

A local favorite. I don't know why it took me so long to get back here but I love the warm & welcoming vibe of this place. They have their own parking lot so parking is always a breeze. I grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender was very nice & patient with me as I paged through their new menu. I love a good mule from Pearl Street. I also decided to try the spinach & artichoke dip. It's definitely a great app to split with others, or if you skipped lunch then it's the perfect portion for one.

Outstanding beer selection! Tried the combo appetizer- great taste of bacon wrapped dates, chicken bites, artichoke dip, and stuffed mushrooms! Staff was friendly and efficient! Will be back!
