Peace of the Earth continues to offer interesting home decor and jewelry, plus their signature scented soaps and body care products. It seems that every time I stop in they've added more to their shelves. If you're looking for a gift for a child they have options here. This is a rare find in the Nulu shops so don't pass them up if that's on your checklist. The favorite item I spotted this weekend was dryer balls in adorable themes. My family recently moved from dryer sheets to dryer balls so I'm a fan. Prices are reasonable for a unique item and local business support.

Peace of the earth is a Nulu neighborhood shop that puts off a knick knack boutique/antique shop. The other day while walking around the Nulu neighborhood me my family and a group of family friends stopped into this establishment at the request of my oldest daughter and Her best friend. There was two workers and it appeared one was being trained. Both were super sweet and nice. They explained they have been here for ten years so they actually got in the Nulu neighborhood Before the explosion in popularity in businesses in they neighborhood. Be at wide variety of options in here. They had some fun novelette items, some clothing, toys and jewelry. Upon checking in on yelp you do get a 15 percent off coupon. So that's always great! My wife and daughters did some damage. They got some jewelry, a tooth fairy doll for the one year old thats pretty cool (you put the tooth in the doll and then the tooth fairy puts the money in the doll), some dryer balls and a few other items. Some items can be kinda pricey and others it is hard to determine the price. For instance my daughters ear rings were $40 and we didn't realize that until we got to the car. I'm sure if we went back in and pressed the matter the lovely ladies would of helped rectify it. However receipts did say "all sales final" and it was on us for not price checking at the time. Overall cool and unique shop and even though it opened before the rise of the other quirky and new age Nulu shops and eateries it fits in perfectly with the vibe of the neighborhood.

I've been using Leslie's lotions and soaps for years. The oatmeal almond and orange cinnamon are two of my favorite scents. Her natural products provide a gentle cleansing and never dry out my skin. It's a great place to shop when I need to buy a gift for someone. The store sells affordable eco-friendly jewelry, candles, toys, housewares, tea, and more. There are plenty of Kentucky souvenirs for the out of town shoppers. The store smells amazing as I believe she makes the Peace of the Earth products on site. It's always a treat to stop in and look around.

Peace of the Earth is such a lovely little shop in Nulu, and IT SMELLS SOOO GOOD IN THERE! I would go in there for that reason alone. Most of the items they sell are bath and body products, but they also have clothing, home decor and local-themed items. Their prices are pretty fair on all of their items and there is just about something for everyone. I have yet to buy anything from this boutique yet, but I am already anticipating another visit so that I can try out their soaps and bath bombs!

Peace of the Earth is aptly named as the heavenly scents that enveloped me as I browsed made me feel so relaxed and peaceful! During the recent Nulu Jinglefest I stopped in to several shops and this one was one of my favorites!! I confess that I did some Christmas shopping and hinted to Santa that I wanted one each of the special Christmas-scented soaps! The locally made soaps and bath products are exquisite! My husband loved the bourbon scented soap and he isn't even a bourbon fan! There are many other items too including small home decor, jewelry (really pretty!), candles, clothing and more. I know that I will be a 'frequent flyer' at Peace of the Earth (especially for the soaps!).

An exquisite shop located on E. Market Street in the NuLu district of Louisville. Most of the wares in the store are from local artisans so your purchase may be one of kind. They specialize in scented candles and bath products for both sexes. The Bourbon and sandlewood is a great scent for men in particular (my personal favorite albeit I am not a Bourbon officiado). There is also unique jewelry items and apparel. This is a must stop for anyone shopping in the NuLu district.

Peace of the Earth is a locally owned store in my NuLu neighborhood with so much to offer. I visit often and always learn new things about their products and services. This trip I learned about their essential oils, salt lamps, lotions and bath salts. POTE makes their lotions, soaps and bath products in house! I was super impressed! The owner Leslie Bowers is a wealth of information on natural products with safe and healthy ingredients. The store also features lots of locally made products including a fantastic selection of affordable jewelry. Stop in for a gift or something special for yourself. You will be surprised at the selection and quality of items at Peace of the Earth.

We sought out Peace of the Earth after enjoying its wonderful-smelling bath and body products at Gralehaus's hipster bed and breakfast. In particular, I loved the ginger lemongrass shampoo and body wash. Although the shop didn't carry those products in ginger lemongrass, I did pick up a small, rollerball bottle of oil perfume in the scent. I wanted to grab up tons of other products, but stuck to my budget. There were a bunch of other neat products at Peace of the Earth, like candles in repurposed whiskey bottles and artsy crafted light switches. I recommend checking out Peace of the Earth when in the Nulu neighborhood, especially if you are a fan of well-crafted, naturally-smelling scents; peppermint-rosemary, grapefruit bergamot, patchouli cedarwood...collect them all!

Peace of Earth is one of my favorite boutiques in Nulu and has made its Louisville claim to fame with its earthy and all natural products! All of their items are fair trade and mostly local artists!I try to buy local as often as I can and this place does the trick! The prices are moderate to expensive depending on what you are purchasing! My favorite are the soaps and candles!! Peppermint and Rosemary is my favorite scent from Peace of Earth! The jewelry is also a personal favorite of mine alongside the salt lamps. I have purchased two and absolutely love the positivity they shine. The gal working today was a doll and talked to me all about the owner and what she carries in her shop. It's always great to know who and what you are supporting!!!

All homemade soaps, bath salts, etc and all organic products. I was expecting this quality to cost a lot more, but was pleasantly surprised. Some of the scents are incredible too. There was a rose/jasmine one (usually I am pretty anti-rose) where the two scents together are heavenly. I also fell in love with the oatmeal/almond one. It wasn't overpowering and is literally made from oatmeal and almonds. The owner commented that it was a good exfoliant from the pieces (that you can see!) of the oatmeal in the bar. You can even get little sample packs of different ones. Oh and the natural bath fizzes are only 4 bucks.Great spot for little gifts for women in your life, esp if they are particular about where things come from. And it's nice to know that it starts and ends right here in the Ville.
