Went for breakfast with friends. I wasn't impressed with it and neither were my friends. Atmosphere was pleasant and clean. Waitress and other staff were very polite and helpful. Doubt if any of us will be back

$2 All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes!! And they were fluffy and delicious. We stopped here on our way out to Vincennes from Indianapolis and had a great experience. Extremely friendly staff and the food was really solid. Fun Western-Style decorations as well.

Myself and a friend went to eat at this restaurant. I ordered the fish sandwich and some fries. The fish was one of the best fish meals that I have ever eaten. Very little breading and the flavor was delightful. The fries were cooked to perfection and were not soggy, oily or cold. We both enjoyed our meals and plan to return to the restaurant in the very near future. The sauce of tartar was excellent as well. It had a well balanced flavor and it certainly added to the greatness of the meal.

Very basic diner food. But if they can't get grilled cheese and potato soup right, I wouldn't count on anything else being much better.

We stopped by here for breakfast. I got eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. The gravy was nearly flavorless. The sausage was excellent though, slightly crispy with less fat than most breakfast sausage. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend got eggs, sausage, and pancakes. The pancakes were heavy, not fluffy like you'd expect. Very doughy. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch, but wasn't very impressed with the breakfast.

Been going to Pats for Decades back when Pat had the restaurant in the old train stop by CVS at 7th and Margret. Cindy and Connie still make the best pies in town along with the cheeseburger club.

This cafe has been around for years. This was my first time eating there. I think it will be the last as well. The B's N G's weren't the best, the biscuits just didn't taste right, & the gravy well.....Also, while we were sitting at our table, there were a few other people sitting at tables, well the waitresses started talking rather loudly about colonoscopies and where to go to get one done etc. Really?!!! Not proper mealtime conversation ladies. It just wasn't as pleasant as what I thought it'd be. If you're looking for subpar food, this is the place for you to go.

Small-town feel, friendly staff, good food--these places are getting harder to find. While I was there, a couple of customers came in and the staff already knew what they wanted to drink and got it as they were just sitting down. Another customer asked if they knew of a phone they could use and the staff lent her the shop's phone. They're a "yes sir, yes ma'am" southern hospitality kind of place and I hope to frequent Pat's Cafe going forward!
