Very limited menu here, unlike other reviews state, and inconsistent info on their website and Facebook page. They have sandwiches, but no sides except bags of commercial chips. The soda choices are limited, with no diet sodas the day we were there. The brisket (small shreds unlike what is pictured) and pulled pork sandwiches were good, but a bit overpriced for what we had. We were disappointed, and felt a bit misled by other reviews and social media pages.

This place is a little odd. It's a processing plant but there is no fresh product. Everything is frozen. The steaks are not sold by the pound but by the unit. So a 12 oz rib-eye costs the same as a 16 oz ribeye. Never seen that before. A woman was bringing out plates of burgers and fries and loading them into a hot box. There was only 5 people there so I can only guess she was doing this for the workers in the plant for when they take there lunch break. The place is self serve at a kiosk. I did not get a burger.

Marksbury Farm is proof that you don't need white tablecloths to create burger magic. The burgers here are so good, they should come with a warning label: "May cause intense burger joy." It's not fancy, but who needs frills when you've got the best burger in town? Five stars for turning simplicity into a culinary masterpiece. Marks-bury me in these burgers; that's how good they are!

Went on a Saturday with the wife. Really meet inside. Both of us ordered burgers and a side. I had the butcher burger. It is a burger topped with Howard's creek beer cheese and pulled pork. It was amazing. My wife had just a cheese burger. Her side was chips, which are potato chips fried in house. I had the vinegar slaw. Small sedating area, but had more room upstairs. They do a lot of to go orders. They had all sorts of meats for sale as well as lots of local items. The burgers and sides were outstanding. It is a little pricy, but it is quality. Wheelchair accessible with little assistance. Will be back to visit again.

This is a super cute place that I have been wanting to try for a while now. The meat is butchered on the property so this is really a farm to table experience. I will warn you, this place is fairly meat centric so there are not many vegetarian options. I asked for a suggestion. The clerk said between the chorizo burger and the pork patty melt. I went for the chorizo burger with the fries and an extra side of the Mac n cheese. Let me tell you, the fries were perfectly cooked. The Mac n cheese was just the way I like it. The noodles were soft and the cheese sauce was perfect and creamy. Completely delicious. The burger was good. My only complaint is the burger to bun ratio is a bit off. I would suggest getting smaller buns or adding more meat and raising the price. Good news. They have plans to open at the Summit on Nick'ville road this fall so everyone will have an opportunity to eat here should you want to fight the traffic.

We stopped in to the original Pasture location yesterday for the first time in quite a while and I was happy to see how popular it's become. They don't have a ton of tables for dining indoors so if you hit it at a peak Tim, you may h e to wait for a table or get your food to go. When it's warm outside, there are lots of outdoor tables so they have more space then. The food is excellent. We usually get the BBQ and burgers but yesterday we tried the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and the Hot Ham and Swiss and they were good as well. The sandwiches are served with homemade chips but we upgraded to the Pasture fries and they were great. They are thicker cut fires with lots of seasoning. There is also a market there where you can buy lots of local meat, milk, beer cheese, and ready to heat and serve soups and dishes. They have a large breakfast casserole in the case that I want to try at some point. I love breakfast casseroles but I'm too lazy to make them!

Bought the best milk ever, organic and with the cream on top of it. The bottles are heavy glass and you will pay it's price once, but can take it back and it will be deducted from the price. I regularly get my milk from here whenever my partner goes out to the shooting range in Danville. If you have not had organic whole milk, give this a try! Another gem I found is beef and pork bones at a very good price. Are you looking for some meaty bones for your next stew or soup? This is your place! Wish they would smoke a couple here there, but nothing a home smoker cannot handle. The food is delicious. I am a french fries person and am okay with a side salad here there. However, I judge a place by their fries real quick! Their are delicious organic fries with just the right amount of their house made seasoning, which you can buy to take home as well. Cannot wait to return! Return, I shall! ;)

I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time but I ended up disappointed. I had the fried bologna sandwich which was pretty good. The two people that I was with got the grass-fed burgers and they said that they weren't very good and it seemed like they were cooked an hour or two prior. They said it didn't taste fresh at all. There were only teenagers working when we were there. It might be better if the adults are cooking.

Food is amazing, just amazing. I always take meat (brats, usually) home with me, too. I guess good food can't be rushed 'cause they're quite slow with the orders. Staff could be a bit friendlier, too, but, did I say, "the food is amazing!"
