Parlor Doughnuts Bowling Green

The doughnuts were really good and fresh. Plain Jane, mini cinnamon sugar,raspberry pistachio, and honey glazed. I would recommend every single doughnut. We went through the drive thru though and it still took 15 min of waiting at the window. My coffee wasn't like ordered so they (kindly) remade my coffee, but it just wasn't tasty once remade. The coffee kinda tasted like 4 day old Folgers, so if that's your thing go for it, but if not skip the coffee and just plan on waiting a while for yummy donuts

Sitting in my hotel I saw the blue parlor doughnuts sign outside my window beckoning me like a lighthouse. It's already the afternoon but what the heck, I'm game. Mosey on over to a deserted store. 3 employee and plenty of donuts for me to choose from. Was really interested in their keto donuts but those were gone. The seasonal banana cream pie was also gone but they had some in the back they could make. Hallelujah. I also tried their most popular French toast doughnut. But nothing beats a stuffed donut. Nuthin. I don't even like bananas but I liked this. The French toast one was good too but underwhelming in comparison. I must change hotels. The proximity is way too dangerous.

I ordered online the night before knowing I would be traveling through the area. Unfortunately, they didn't receive my order, but filled it within a few minutes. Staff were so nice. Seated area & bathrooms were clean. Donuts were amazing!!! I got everything chocolate plus French toast & maple bacon. They traveled well & still tasted fresh as we ate them for the next 3 days. (My mom swears by putting bread in her oven that she doesn't use). Highly recommend!! Just be careful, the parking lot is a bit precarious to get out of making a Left turn.

I will start this off by saying I am an avid *lover* of parlor doughnuts. The doughnuts are flaky and just the right amount sweet. There's so much variety and always a friendly person at the counter. I always recommend them. I had even tried this location two months before when they had just opened (the doughnut and coffee is from this occasion). However, recently I had a terrible experience. Employees were rude and almost seemed annoyed. I ordered an açaí bowl and was told the were out of bananas. They said they would replace with other fruit in stock. Instead, opening the bowl was gnarly, old, rotten banana slices. I was appalled. Even eating the bowl, the granola tasted stale and the peanut butter was in two thick chunks rather than a nice drizzle. I am very shocked this was considered acceptable. I'm hoping this is a one-time thing and not a regular for this location.

They were delicious, not too sweet and the blueberry latte was on point. Pre ordered morning of and they were ready when I got there.

What they sell are decent and tasty, but they are in no way, shape or form a doughnut. I always try new doughnut places whenever I travel so I decided to try Parlor Doughnuts. They are not cake, they are not yeast and they are not even fritter like which some people consider doughnuts. They are more like heavy croissants with different flavors. Again the taste was ok, but they were very heavy. If you are looking for traditional doughnuts this is not the place for you. If you want to try something different with decent flavor and taste give them a try.

This is the best donuts I have had in my entire life, like life changing lol I had been wanting to try them so on my way to a Dr appointment I stopped knowing it was probably a little late in the day and they could be out. The cases were kinda bare but the staff said no worries we can whip up what ever you want even if you don't see it in the case. I got the Strawberry Shortcake and it was an experience, so amazingly perfect! I got a few of the filled bites and those too were magical. Can't wait to get home and have my husband try his Bourbon one, I tasted a little of the fosting and it was divine! Stop what you are doing and go get you the best donut of your life! Wish I had taken a picture lol.

These donuts are so yummy! They're definitely gourmet so expect to spend more than a normal dozen, but really fun flavors and very dense donuts. Just one is super filling.
