Lots of flowers, plants, herbs and vege plants. They have bags of dirt-even their own 'home-grown' stuff. Inside they offer fruit and veges for sale, along with pots and other gardening needs.

We generally only come here once a year, which is for our Christmas tree and for their kick-ass candy. I don't know why it's never crossed our minds to stop by more than once a year, but maybe that'll change? They have a wonderful selection of tress and each year we find one that we think is the perfect size however when we get it home it's almost too big (Christmas tree shopping probz). Their prices are about average and they have a selection of trees for $20 or less -- they tend to have floppy flimsy limbs that don't hold ornaments as well, but they work in a pinch. Immediately upon arrival you are greeted by the guys who work there and they let it be known that they are more than happy to help you find anything you need. We didn't need much help as we only looked for ten minutes or less and we found the tree that we wanted. It only cost us around $30. We showed the employee and he told us to go inside to pay and by the time we got out it was already by the car. While we were inside I had to browse the candy that they have there as well. Who can say no to some sweets during the holidays? I ended up walking out with some snow-caps, peanut brittle, chocolate covered almonds and chocolate turtles for less than $9. Not a bad deal at all. When we got back out they were ready with the tree and they even tied it to the roof for us and it didn't budge the whole way! They also have wonderful wreaths. It's hard to pass them up each year, however we already have a decoration for the front door, so while hard, we end up passing them by each year. Great customer service, great old-fashioned candy and a great selection of trees to bring home for the holiday season. Visit if for no other reason than to get some treats, friendly service and leave with a smile.

Parkway is a nice neighborhood flower and produce shop. Their flowers are reasonably priced at just under $20 a flat for standard flowers and $32 for bigger plants like Gerber Daisies. Their produce is a little high but appears to be of a good quality. I used to shop here all the time when I lived down the street. It's still closer than any of the big box stores and I figured the little bit of extra cost was worth my time when I just needed a few flowers for my pots. Plus..... like I said, it's shopping local and that matters.

If you are in need of a quality Christmas tree, friendly staff, and great service visit Parkway Produce. We have gotten our Christmas tree here for 3 years in a row. They have wreaths and other decor items as well. The employees are extrememly friendly and prices are VERY reasonable. It is much cheaper than the Downtown Louisville lot. Inside they have tons of fresh veggies and fruit year round and are always honest about their current selection (especially produce). YOU MUST TRY THEIR OLD FASHIONED CANDY - thank me later!

I love love LOVE Parkway Produce, not just for food, but their flowers are the best in town! I have purchased plants at Frank Otte and Lowe's/Home Depot. Parkway blows them all out of the water. I went over the weekend and got about 16 annuals to plant. They all look healthy and I can't wait until they add that beautiful burst of color to my front and back yard this summer! The people who work there are so nice and helpful too. They are a family who have owned the stand for 27 years. I love shopping local! In addition to the flowers, I got a watermelon and my mom bought some corn and potatoes. The watermelon was sweet and juicy and crazy delicious! I will be going back soon!

We buy our Christmas trees here and save some over what's available in the Highlands and Crescent Hill. I've been meaning to check this out in other seasons especially with respect to nursery plants and see if there's a deal there, too. As a produce market, this place is OK but doesn't draw near the interest that their seasonal offering does for me.

This place rocks! The annuals, perennials, herbs, etc., are the healthiest plants around. Springtime draws many people who like to plant. The fall season is wonderful with all types of pumpkins, gourds, etc. I have also had a wonderful experience with their produce. The best are the sweet corn (still in husks), the small golden and red potatoes, and even the huge ripe strawberries! The owner and employees are readily available to answer any questions and to help load your purchases in your vehicles. I've never had a bad experience here. Check it out!!

This is a charming neighborhood venue. I have been shopping here for years, and their stock never fails to be of the highest quality available in Louisville. The staff are always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and they always help me carry my purchases to my car. I strongly recommend Parkway Produce!

I love Parkway Produce. Their flowers and plants are spectacular. They've also got a nice selection of candy worth checking out. They are closed during the winter months. The staff is friendly and checkout is a breeze. Well worth the trip.
