Pappaw's BBQ & More

The baked potato was fresh , but the bbq was old and there was very little of it. I left hungry. I told my server , but nothing was done. The bbq baked potato had about 1/4 cup bbq on it. The drinks were cold and the restaurant was clean. Service was friendly. Pleasant music playing. Bright and fun family atmosphere. Too bad they don't try to serve great food.

The service was great. The atmosphere was pretty cool if you're a Buffalo Bills fan.. I'm not sure what kinda restaurant it is either. Could be a sports bar or a pool hall there is definitely karaoke. Wow. Let's get to the food we checked in at 2:30 p.m. on a Friday and they are completely out of ribs no mashed potatoes. So my wife orders, a pulled pork sandwich with barely had any pork on it my son ordered Buffalo wings which the buffalo sauce taste completely like vinegar, and nothing else no heat to it at all the hot barbecue sauce, taste like ketchup with pepper in it way too much ketchup, and I had pork nachos which were drowned and liquid nacho cheese it was hard to find a pulled pork init. One and a half to two stars at best

First time to visit, I was told by people that it was a great place to eat, however, my experience differs a bit, the atmosphere was good, the service was ok, ordered the pulled pork sandwich, it was really dry, you would think they would have sauce at the table, also the meal was served on paper plates and plastic silverware, nothing about throwaway material. Just a suggestion, put different sauces on the table, spend some money and use real plates and utensils, will try it again I a month or so, I think they try very hard

Was not impressed whatsoever. Meat tasted cooked, refrigerated and then heated up. Had the brisket and it was mostly fat and not much meat. Had high hopes for this little place.

Went here for lunch and ordered the brisket sandwich with green beans and coleslaw. Despite the food coming out quickly, the brisket was cold only warmed by the bbq sauce plopped on top. The green beans were flavorless, but came out hot. The coleslaw didn't have much flavor and was watered down. Giving 2 stars based on our server. She was extremely prompt and stayed on top of getting our drinks.

Best BBQ around ..... great service and a very nice staff. Smoked meatloaf is so good. Had a great time. They even had karaoke the night we were there.Service was great and very fast will definitely go back again.

I can't believe how generous these folks are. They are feeding people for free Wednesday the 22nd Nov 2023. 2400 people were fed last year and this year he is looking to feed 4K. He said it's about bringing together the community,

First time here. Not sure if it's a bar, night club, a pool hall or a restaurant. Still have no idea. Got there at 730. No ribs. It's a BBQ joint. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with beans and fries. Sandwich wasn't bad. Beans tasted like Heinz baked beans. Fries were cut shout but ok. O now it's karaoke. Wow. After living in Kansas City for many years, not sure this would classify as a BBQ joint.

This is world famous Jimmy Jam I travel all over the country tasting barbecue and food this not good beans cold ribs not done

All we could taste was a STRONG chemical liquid smoke flavor. Small portions for the price, horrible chemical flavor, barely any barbecue sauce that was poured directly onto the cooked meat instead of marinated and cooked into the meat. Flavorless but HORRIBLE. The service was good with friendly people, but they need to rethink how they ruin a good barbecue. People don't pay hard earned money for a miniscule amount of barbecue sauce topped on overcooked small portions of meat.
