Oxmoor Farm

We have been to a number of parlor concerts here. They are wonderful! There is a reception before the concert in the midst of the home. The concerts are in the library. Even driving up the long drive and walking in is special. I highly recommend it if you have the chance to go!

Enjoyed a gorgeous evening beneath the huge trees for the annual Filson Historical Society fundraiser. The Crashers concert was absolutely amazing and they provide a helluva show. The property is lovely and the perfect setting for our picnic and mingling. Event sold 1,000 tickets and provided plenty of room to spread out and still see the stage. Entrance was easy to find and lovely long paved roadway lined with mature trees. Parking was a bit precarious on the grass due to some ruts, but we navigated this slow and steady to avoid ripping out the car's oil pan or busting a tie rod (another sad historical tale ...)We plan to return soon to tour more of the property, including the house.

Wonderful venue to enjoy a Signature Parlor Concert and Reception. The room acoustics are excellent. The library feels comfortable, warm and beautiful.

Oxmoor Farm is a gorgeous historic venue! Lucky for us, it is right across the street from our place. They often have events and we recently went to see The Crashers for a charity event for The Louisville Historic Society. It was a blast. The grounds are just lovely. If you are looking for a place to host an amazing event- check them out.

Beautiful venue! Bookshelf secret doorways come included. I attended a wedding here and it is the first I've every been to or heard of this venue. I was stunned by the size, the amount of land, and the natural beauty (well not completely natural) of the farm. As it was a wedding, I'm not sure what is included with the venue and what the newly weds brought in. Everything was amazing and fancier than I'm accustomed. While I'd highly recommend this venue, it really isn't my style.

Beautiful place. Very peaceful. Very walkable. Historical site and tours availability.
