Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Typical Olive Garden location with standard menu. Clean restaurant and quick service anytime we go.

Sometimes you just want some old school Olive Garden and this location hits just right. Friendly and prompt service and the few times we've been there was never a wait for a table. Food is what you'd expect from OG so no complaints!

Our server was really nice. We had a bit of a wait for food because she said their kitchen was backed up despite there not being many diners. The food was served hot and the portions were large. My food was a bit too salty but still edible.

Visited this location from a friend request. Decided to join a larger party and the staff were very accommodating. I ordered a soup and salad with an entree to go. Although there were mix ups in a few orders, the staff fixed the errors.

Update: I previously thought this restaurant was pretty perfect but I guess I was wrong. I believe there's a chef that works there occasionally or one that just doesn't care. For years I have ordered Chicken Scampi. Only once did they goof and give me shrimp scampi. The next time, they never put our order in... oops they found it. Now the last 3 out of 4 times my chicken was burnt on one side! I spoke to a Manager and I guess she made the one that wasn't burnt. Now to be fair, she honestly tried to make it up to me! However, it happened again last Friday. I took photos the first time. I can't keep calling and complaining. I feel bad! So I guess I'm gonna' have to learn to make it myself! Anybody have a good, easy chicken scampi recipe? The service is usually pleasant, and the one thing I like about this location is it's not overdone with Italian paraphenalia. It's very pleasant! I order to go most of the time. They sometimes fail to give me extra scampi sauce that I request! A friend of mine recently ordered chicken parm and it was burnt as well. She wouldn't call to tell them. I do because they can't fix something if they don't know it's broke!

I'm no stranger to Olive Garden, but this was my first visit to the newly built location. I dined there on a Saturday evening when the wait was hours long at other restaurants nearby. I placed a call to Olive Garden and was informed that there was not a current wait. Decision made!When I sat down the first thing I noticed was the modern decor. The other location in town has been here for many years and it is quite dated. This location was a breath of fresh air. The light fixtures are beautiful and very modern. The bar area was beautiful and well stocked.Our waitress was kind & attentive and made wonderful suggestions. She answered all questions with ease and made our dining experience very nice.I stepped outside of my box and got something other than my usual tour of Italy. I tried the shrimp & chicken scampi and it was wonderful. Of course we had plenty of salad and breadsticks to go around. In fact, I filled up on those and had to request a to-go container for my entree. In addition to my entree, the waitress offered salad and more breadsticks to-go as well. I had a complete leftover meal the next day. My birthday is this week so I presented my email for a free dessert. I went with the brownie lasagna and I absolutely made a great choice! It's thick, rich, chocolate goodness. This was a wonderful dining experience all the way around. Glad to have OG in the neighborhood!

Just had the worst meal and service ever at this Olive Garden. I was served minestrone soup with no broth. The server told me that was just the way they made it that day. Miraculously she found some "in the back" with broth. I ordered a side of marinara with my breadsticks and she told me for 15 minutes " they were still working on it". Should I believe some Italian grandmother was making it in the back? She told us they got very busy, it's Saturday night in Lexington, you would think they should expect this!

My husband and I waited for 10 minutes and we were acknowledged after we asked for the manager. I've always loved Olive Garden, but after today, not so much. Hopefully, they will work on their customer service skills.

The OG is the OG of fast casual Italian food. Overall I find there meals ok. We eat here pretty often because is close to the house.There is nothing I get really excited about. They have a solid fettuccini alfredo. The pasta is fine (usually a bit over cooked) but the sauce is thick and rich with lots of cheesy flavor. My favorite thing here is the zuppa toscona soup, wonderful spicy sausage and kale great on a cold day. I love the salad but the Italian dressing does not love me. So we order the salad dry and I get the ranch dressing which is pretty good has a little different sweet flavor. I am usually really happy with the salad it is fresh and I love the black olives.Service can be hit or miss here, no matter if they are busy or not. My favorite server is José. He is friendly and on top of any refill or request you have. I fear he will not be here long because he is so efficient someone will snap him up. The décor is bright and clean. If you are surfing I 75 this is a clean, close, and convenient location.

Decent food, hard-working staff, convenient stop near Fayette mall, as always great service under large crowds.
