Nulu was a wonderfully eclectic collection of shops and food , you could get lost for hours wandering in and out of the small venues.

I'm sure during the summer it's great but during the winter many of the places were either closed or required a reservation.

Nulu marketplace is a shared outdoor patio area that is as you can tell by the name in the Nulu neighborhood of Louisville Kentucky. The shared space is very nice and surrounded by popular establishments such as Emmy squared pizza (highly recommend), West sixth Nulu and buff. It's soap. In the rear they do have a private parking lot which most places in Nulu does not. So that's nice. In the parking lot is a beautiful new and massive wall mural of horses. So that's a cool to check out as well. Overall very popular and nice area that's difficult to get a seat at on a Friday or Saturday night. Worth checking out during nice weather when eating some good pizza from Emmy squared or throwing back some drinks at west sixth.

Ive been here a few times already. It's a cool place to hang out when the weather is nice!Lots of outdoor seating. Upstairs and downstairs. Mostly a place to drink. West 6th is here along with Gertie's and a place you can do crafts while sipping on cocktails/wine/etc.Emmy Squared is basically the only food option. It's delicious but a bit pricey. Still very popular though. I've ordered their food through their app. Absolutely delicious Detroit-style pizza! The only other option is Torino's, which is a Sandwich shop usually only open during the day.You can get charcuterie from them though!Since it's outdoors, it's dog-friendly too!

This place is GREAT! I've been wanting to get here for awhile now and finally gathered a group together on a Friday night as a Going Away gathering for a friend. We gathered several small tables together outside of The Craftery for us to sit at and then even utilized a picnic table of theirs. Being we were using their tables, we ordered several drinks from The Craftery (I had a watermelon mojito... so good and refreshing, $10). For food, we all ate at Emmy Squared but were sitting outside of their service area so we had to place TO GO orders inside at their hostess stand. Some people that wanted beer instead of cocktails, drank from West 6th. Later, friends even popped into Gertie's Whiskey Bar for a bourbon. It was a beautiful night to enjoy this spot. A great place to socialize with people constantly coming and going. It's right in the perfect area of so many other businesses, bars, restaurants in Nulu and on Market. Definitely a must go place in the city. The Craftery closes early so beware that if you use their tables, they will take up their chairs when they close to lock inside their store, leaving you without a place to sit. We saw some orange stools inside West 6th that we brought out to sit on for our remaining time there.

Today's visit to the Nulu Marketplace was wonderful! Tables were nicely spaced outside, including the upstairs, which made it the perfect spot to enjoy beer from West Sixth and pizza from Emmy Squared. Tables make it easy to order as well with QR codes for both spots. The space is tucked off the street and home to a few nearby shops plus The Craftery. Lots of retail spaces are available for rent which I suspect will fill up soon. This is going to be a popular spot, especially when we're long past the pandemic and can socialize a bit more freely.

You think you know a neighborhood! I've been to NuLu regularly over the last decade. I actually lived on East Market Street for a year. And I felt like I knew the buildings that make up its streetscape and its possibilities. And then bam, a new development takes over a large building and erects an awesome new mixed-use space, opening up the neighborhood in fun ways I hadn't imagined. NuLu Marketplace is such a great new asset to this area that will make NuLu even better for years to come. Its open-air courtyard is perfect for these COVID times, and the mix of businesses with The Craftery, West Sixth NuLu, Emmy Squared, Buff City Soaps, Hectare's and more bring a fun eclectic mix. (I also got a sneak peek of the chocolate shop, sandwich shop and speakeasy that will open soon.) I like that the entrance from East Market Street is a little understated, which makes it even more fun to stumble upon. And from Main Street, there is a small lot, bringing some much needed parking to the area.NuLu Marketplace will be a great landmark for the neighborhood, and I'm excited to see how it grows in years to come.

Really enjoyed discovery the Nulu Marketplace on Saturday. The Craftery was probably my favorite, but also enjoyed West Sixth NULU brewery, Six Sisters Boutique, Emmy Squared (food), Buff City Soap, Revery, Pregame Coffee, Clayton & Crume, & Mamili boutique. They are all setup for Christmas and really got the spirit moving for the holidays!

We enjoyed this block of bars, restaurants and shops. There were plenty of colorful murals and places to stop for pictures. I'm sad we did t have more as I would have liked to experience more. Emmy Squared for dinner and Please and Thank You for dessert offered both delicious food and fun environments.
