North Lime Coffee & Donuts - Clays Mill

We stopped in and had coffee & a donut.Tried one of their special coffee of the month.Both were very good.

11/4/24 My husband and I Tried this donut shop for the first time, as we've been on a donut kick lately, but sadly, it didn't live up to our expectations. The donuts were overly dense and saturated with a thick, sugary coating that was just too much. Couldn't finish even one without desperately needing a drink to wash it down. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was casual, perfect for nomadic people. Unfortunately, not a place we'd come back to.

Had North Lime Donuts delivered after a Birthday Party... my friends thought highly enough to order them, but I preferred the raspberry lemon cake offered. The donuts just tastes like Long Johns Sillvers batter without the chicken or fish. Personal preference, but won't be going there

I adore this donut shop. They're about a mile or so down the road from me so there's nothing better than taking a walk with my little one and going there on a Saturday morning. They tend to have a full patio since the weather is so pleasant. The workers are great and if you are having problems choosing a flavor they are more than happy to help.

We stopped by this place as we are on a road trip eating donuts across the United States. Yeah, we eat and hike. That's the daily routine! Read good reviews and stopped by at 10 am for some goodies. They are about $2 each and only had 3 flavors left. The squared yeast donuts are bigger than the traditional round one. I can barely finish one. I dislike too much icing but this was ok. They aren't fluffy and light but good enough. Hubby liked the chocolate icing the most. Nothing out of this world.

When they have a Nutella anything Donut as their daily special, do not miss out. Stomp the brakes, hang a right and get in line with every one else in the parking lot cause the line is out the door for a reason. It's not the service slowing it down, they are working their tails off slinging coffee and donuts and the line moves fast. But you will not be alone because this is a great place to get your sugar fix and caffeine infusion.

Friendly service, reasonable wait time, clean, easy to get to with parking! The restaurant is noisy inside - fyi. The outdoor patio is lovely!Their coffee is simply excellent. I love the beans they use. They have a special chai concentrate that is delicious and a bit lower in sugar than most mixes. It's so fun that you can purchase the concentrate as well! They do make a lot of syrups in house as well. Onto the donuts... the cake donuts (my preference) are just so great! They are crunchy, but moist and not hard at all. It's a truly pleasurable texture. They are very creative with donut flavours! I love their specials: honey cinna-butter and vegan carrot cake. I've never had a bad experience and enjoy it very much!

North Lime is a neighborhood staple. So glad to have a donut and coffee shop on this side of the town. I'm a simple gal. I get my donut plain and some days paired with a latte if I haven't made coffee at home yet. I've also gotten donuts by the dozen and coffee in bulk to bring to work, and it is always a hit!

First time visiting in the area, and thought I'd check it out. The ambience was cute and I liked the decor/vibe. The service was great and I was greeted with a friendly smile, but these doughnuts were not good, like at all. They were dry, flavorless and both items I had to try were very disappointing. The berries and cream stuffed doughnut was only filled with this pink icing of a mix that tasted like strawberry toothpaste. It was not fresh berries. It was not fresh cream. It was NOT worth the $2.50. Same with the cinnamon sugar, very dry, dough was flavorless and just a huge disappointment. I wanted to like because of how cute of a shop it was. But man these were not good at all.

I was planning on going to my favorite donut spot this morning but they were closed so I decided to try North Lime for the first time and the donuts were either days old or very overcooked. They had next to no flavor and were very hard. The workers don't really speak to you either, kind of an awkward and dreary experience.
