Nord's Bakery

Delicious, traditional, fast-service bakery not far from UofL or L&N Stadium. Street parking available in the area. There's a little seating area in the back of the bakery. Both of our donuts were really good. Cream filled and freshly made and very fluffy. It was $2.50 for the two donuts. Be sure to come earlier if you want a full selection. On Sunday just before 11:00, pickings were slim. So arriving early gets you your best shot at the type of donut or treat you want!

Not happy. This cake put a big damper on the surprise. I was very careful driving this home and I used gentle movements the entire time when moving it. Literally just fell apart and looked terrible when I opened the box. Cake was sort of dry too. Nothing special, but boy is a cake ugly when it just collapses on you. This was a very special anniversary for my parents and so unhappy I had to present this to them. Sad.

Oh goodness! Nord's donuts were brought to a work event and I only didn't take a face dive into the box because I couldn't be professional with glaze all over my face and clothes!I took one bite of my glazed donut and it melted in my mouth. So fluffy and the right amount of sweetness. I also had a small bite of the chocolate glazed long john with bacon. Nord's will always hold a special memory for me. One of my best friends secretly left a box while I was sleeping in a hospital room, having just become a new mom. That was 18 years ago and I hadn't had a bite of one of their donuts since. I promise to make a special trip to you Nord's! You deserve our breakfast dollars.

Great old school, local bakery. Make sure to get there early for the best pick! Once they sell out that's it. Cookies all looked delicious and there were so many cute designs. $11 for 7 donuts and a cookie. Great deal!

Could not be happier with the cake that we picked up for my daughter's engagement party. We really felt that they did everything to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. I emailed a picture of what I was looking for and the colors that I wanted afterwards I called them and talk to the Baker and she reassured me that it was gonna be a beautiful cake and it was. The cake was delicious, beautiful and reasonably priced. I will definitely be purchasing special occasion cakes from here again.

Nord's made a birthday cake for me and it was delicious!They made it exactly like i asked them too & it was super fresh! I will always go here for my cakes!

Nord's Bakery is so delicious it makes me feel like a kid again!Nords is the go to place for donuts! My favorite is the French Fry because it's a bit more surface area than the glazed donut. Hmmm, a bit more crunch covered in sugar. Be sure to get there early for the best selection. These donuts, pastries, cakes, and cookies do really taste a good as I remember when I was a child! Be sure to stop in and feel like a kid again!

The maple bacon donut is incredible. Everything else had sold out at 11am on a Saturday so get there early if you want to try more but the maple bacon is one of the best donuts I've ever had.

I am a parishioner of St.Raphael Parish and on special occasions we serve donuts after Mass .I am a sweet eating professional Nords doughnuts are served and I can't wait to enjoy one of Nords wonderful doughnuts!! Best doughnuts I have ever eaten!! Looking forward to our next doughnut Sunday!!
