Noche Mexican BBQ

We unknowingly showed up toward the end of the night on national margarita day, so the place was crowded, and the wait staff was obviously running around like crazy.Despite it being so busy Letitia was attentive and such a lovely waitress. A duo was performing some late 90s and early 2000s jams that just hit the spot. The salsa clasica (red) and queso were delicious, I wish they provided free refills. My friend and I split the full order of steak and chicken fajitas, which blew my expectations away. The la texana salsa (tomatillo), rice, and refried beans were the perfect addition to the fajitas. We had enough left over for another full meal. My other friend had the Noche burger and couldn't say enough good things about the mix of meat used for the patty. The margarita and white wine sangria so refreshing.I would definitely go back for a special occasion. The building and decor were the cherry on top.

Such a unique dining experience located inside an old church with all the original stained glass and pipe organ still in place. The decor propels this place over the top with the main focal point being a massive mural perched above the kitchen area. Food & service has always been spectacular! Carnitas is my personal favorite - deep fried & braised pork shoulder bites that will melt in your mouth - it's like a flavor euphoria! Be sure to grab a couple house cocktails and you will soon find yourself immersed in what may feel like el dia de los muertos.

We were obviously attracted to this place because of the unique building. We thought this would be an enjoyable experience but we left disappointed. We were the only diners in the restaurant. I guess that should've been a sign. We've read reviews about the chips and salsa but we were not offered any. The menu lacked options. We ordered the armadillo eggs for our appetizer. Despite the high price of $18, we were only given 4 peppers. The peppers filling and flavors were inconsistent. The berry coulis had a good flavor. Our main dishes were served quickly. The rice was undercooked and dangerous to eat. The pulled pork was decent but the texture was mushy. The brisket was ok but the birria lacked flavor. The smoked chicken lacked flavor and was most definitely pan fried and not smoked. Overall, this Mexican food was the most underwhelming, under seasoned, and incredibly over priced food we've had. I'm glad we checked this off of our list but we do not recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere, service and overall food was excellent. Flank Steak Fajitas was awesome, good salsa and chips and queso fundido. Very good brisket- great service - hidden gem in Louisville. Great cocktails - tequila and bourbon lots to choose from. Highly reccomend

Such a beautiful restaurant, located in an old church, the original elements such as the stained glass make such a beautiful and unique dining experience.Mexican bbq was a new concept for me so I wasn't sure what to expect. I decided tp go with a quesadilla with chicken tinga and my companion ordered brisket enchiladas. We split our orders so we could try both. Each dis was filling & delicious.In addition to the food, we enjoyed delicious flavored margaritas. We tried strawberry and passionfruit and both were delicious!The staff was kind and attentive. There is street parking available in front of and on the side of the building.

Had the brisket taco with the corn taco could have been a little warmer hotter but it was good And House margarita which was very goodThe bartender Jonell was very nice

What a cool concept, a restaurant in a refurbished church. We parked on the street nearby and walked in to beautiful decor and immediately felt the escape to Mexico. We were quickly seated and we hungry so ordered our food pretty quickly. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas. I asked for no beans and a double side of rice because I can't eat the beans and he confirmed it with me before leaving the table and it still came out with beans. We watch our food sit in the window for quite sometime before it made it out to us. Since we were one of two tables it was a sure bet it was our food and to see our waiter just stand scrolling on their phone didn't really help the cause. Once our food got dropped off, we didn't really see them until we were done. So I didn't bother saying anything I just ate around it. My food was a bit cold, but the tortillas that came with it were popping hot. Overall, I had an okay experience. I'd recommend it more for drinks than food.

Although I still love the atmosphere, on my most recent visit they were out of a lot of items and the rice was relatively hard.We also watched our food sit for 5 minutes before our server brought it to us. That wouldn't have been a big deal but we were 1 of 2 tables in the entire downstairs.Overall: I think noche has run its course and I won't be back.

They have late night tacos for delivery now! This is amazing as I work 3rd shift, and my coworkers and I love the amazing tacos we can get super late (otherwise we would be stuck with Taco Bell).I absolutely love the Carne Asada one! Thank you Noche!!!!

Visited here during a snow storm so it was not busy at all. Our group was seated immediately and the service was great! We made it for happy hour which included discounted drinks and free chips and salsa! I LOVED the big painted glass windows everywhere and the big open space. I ordered a brisket quesadilla and my friend got the birria tacos, both were great! We would definitely come back to this place!
