What an amazing find! I always love to try new bakeries when I travel and this little bakery and cafe was such a delicious gem! I did not try any of their coffees or teas but they had a marvelous selection and they make all their syrups from scratch. I did order a scrumptious variety of baked goods and loved everything! The ladies helping me were very helpful and friendly. The little dining area is casual and cozy. I'll definitely stop by for some goodies to take home on my way out of town. Yum!

Outstanding local bakery! I live out of town but come back regularly to visit family in the area. Each day Im back starts with Nikos. I get a latte and either a breakfast sandwich or bakery item. They are always fresh and great quality. Every town should have a Niko's!I should also mention how friendly The staff is and remember me when I come back, even this time when it's been 6 months since my last visit.

Avoid this restaurant if you plan to place an online order for pickup! While they have a really nice website with lots of options for ordering the sandwiches they got our order wrong and omitted items! With a 5-star Yelp rating I didn't think I'd have to unwrap the sandwiches to make sure that we got the correct ones but apparently I should have. Even simple options like if we wanted the sandwiches cut in half, or with onions weren't followed but the extra annoying thing was we paid extra money for add ons like avocado and paid extra money to order side salads and we didn't get those items despite paying for them. Another unpleasant surprise to a first time customer who ordered online was that ALL of the sandwiches are hot/grilled! I felt misled by the Yelp photo of normal healthy sandwiches that I was expecting instead of hot, super greasy, sandwiches. The photos when I ordered online didn't show them grilled either or I wouldn't have ordered from this restaurant. As for taste, all I could taste was a greasy mess in my mouth. After eating drive thru hamburgers on our road trip I thought that this restaurant would have healthy yummy sandwiches as a nice change and I was sorely mistaken. I was also unpleasantly surprised that despite tipping 20% that the young ladies weren't very friendly to me when I picked up my order. Maybe it would be different if you were a local or ate inside BUT for a non-local who placed an order to-go this was not a good experience.

What a phenomenal experience! I am in town for the birth of my first Grandbaby and my daughter recommended Niko's, saying it was my foodie style of place! She nailed it! It took me 15 minutes to decide what to eat, because everything g looked and sounded great. I talked with those around me about what they had. Everyone LOVED what they ordered! So, we decided to go with a delicious beef and Gouda sandwich with caramelized onion jam and the apple salad. The sandwich was absolutely perfect and full of flavor! The crust was crispy enough to crunch, yet so soft to chew that it all melted in your mouth! Now the apple salad... crisp, juicy, crunchy and so much flavor in each bite! It was a perfect combo! Sorry I forgot the photos! We were hungry! The best part of lunch, however, was the chocolate mousse! It is some of the thickest, richest, most delightful chocolate lovers treat! I am a macaroon freak, so we grabbed some Ferraro roche to go. Those little suckers were light and crispy yet with that thick gooey center!! Nikos is a must visit for us every time we return!

We recently move to Owensboro and had multiple recommendations to try Nikos Bakery. We went for lunch and had one of their special sandwiches, which happened to be a Bourbon Bacon Chicken sandwich that day. It was amazing and delicious. The place is clean and service is good. They have a large selection of menu items such as fresh made sandwiches, coffee, deserts. The lemon blueberry scone and s'mores latte was really good together. Highly recommend this place for a nice breakfast, lunch or supper. We'll definitely be back to try some other items on the menu.
