The peppered chicken and crab and cheese were okay, as well as a few of the green beans that weren't burnt up.

Dried-up potstickers. I didn't dare.
Best part.
Wonton soup. Wontons were mushy from sitting too long. Couldn't eat.
Hot and sour soup was okay, as was the cold crab salad.

I was in the area and looking for Asian food, when I saw this on the Yelp app and remembered seeing it by Valu Market. Many people hate buffets. My family does, and I used to. However, the older that I get, the more pragmatic my food choices have become. I know that on a buffet I can sample what I want, which always includes a cup of hot and sour soup, crab Rangoons, sautéed green beans, a meat entrée, a fried donut, and some fruit. I cannot get all of this for a good price on a cooked-to-order Chinese meal. So, what I lose in quality on a buffet, I feel I gain on variety and quantity. I'm usually okay with that trade off. Usually. I came after the lunch rush, while visiting my old hometown. It's one of those buffets with multiple islands. They have a large variety here. I started with soup. The hot and sour soup was edible, but wasn't made in house. I tried a bit of wonton soup, but the dumplings were falling apart from sitting too long, and none in the container were fully intact. I added scallions to help, but to no avail. Too mushy. Next, I went for crab Rangoon. They had no crab meat in them whatsoever, which is odd considering they serve a cold crab salad and a warm crab and cheese dish here. I know it's imitation, but they could've added some of that to the crab Rangoon. So, that was a bust as well.I found some cold crab salad and also some warm crab and cheese. Both were doable. Next, I went for green beans. The pot was mixed. Half were shriveled up and old. I tried to pick through them with the serving utensil and get some of the fresher ones. It was somewhat of a success. I then went for potstickers, but they were all tired and dried out too. No dice. It just wasn't my day. I managed to lock down on some fresh peppered chicken that was decent. Between that, the crab items, and some oranges and donuts, I managed to get full. The sushi didn't look that bad, but I was done by this point. The service was prompt and mildly friendly from the server only. I don't mind a mediocre buffet, but this wasn't even that, and I'm far from the picky type. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, but this first impression turned me off, and it's unlikely that I will ever return.

Food was really good and the service was great. We went on Christmas Day and they were really busy. We didn't have a very long wait at all. This was the first time I've eaten there and I would definitely go back.

This has been the most authentic Chinese food I've had. The prices are amazing for how much you get, and it's so good I ate the leftovers cold the next day. Highly recommend everything on the menu. The desserts aren't great, I tried four different things and they just weren't the best. But the food itself was absolutely fantastic. The meals are great, but go somewhere else for dessert.

Ordered a dinner of vegetable lo mein got home and there was only one piece of broccoli in it and the rest all noodles. I wouldn't call that vegetable lo mein. I called and talked to someone and she stated I run a business that's what you get. She was not very nice.
