Nation At The Banks

This place is a real winner. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they've put some thought into the design. It's bright and modern, but still has a cozy feel. I especially loved the feature wall with all the hatchets - a cool nod to Carrie Nation herself. Gotta love a place with a bit of history (and a good story behind the name). The mural of Carrie Nation was... interesting. It reminded me of what may happen if Ruth Bader Ginsburg was chugging a liter of beer.Speaking of history, I had a great chat with our bartender. Super friendly guy, and he filled me in on the story behind the name and some interesting Cincinnati history. It's always nice when the staff is knowledgeable and willing to chat. Makes the experience so much better.The beer selection here is top-notch. They've got a great variety, something for everyone. While I wasn't there for a game, I can totally see this place being the spot for pre-gaming before hitting up the ballpark. Smart move - save yourself some serious cash on those stadium beers! Or, you know, it's equally perfect for post-game celebrations (or commiserations, depending on how your team did).And let's talk about the food. Wow. Just wow. I was seriously impressed. Everything was delicious, and I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Sadly, I was only in town for work, so I'm not sure when I'll be back in Cincinnati. But if I am, Nation at the Bank is definitely on my list. And if you're in the area, especially if you're staying at one of the nearby hotels at The Banks, I highly recommend checking it out. Honestly, between the atmosphere, the awesome beer selection, the friendly staff, and the fantastic food, Nation at the Banks has it all. Whether you're a sports fan, a history buff, or just looking for a great place to grab a bite and a brew, this place won't disappoint.

We ended our Mardi Gras celebration here It's a great sports bar TVs all around The bartender didn't know about any Mardi Gras specials We went there to try the burger special After asking again he finally asked his boss That was little annoying I ordered the special burger blackened burger with sausage and fried okra Delicious My hubby got the blackened burger Lots of food

This was a great stop before the baseball game. Right across from Great American Ballpark. They have a nice selection of typical bar food and a full bar. The service was good for how crowded it was and the ambiance is urban bar restaurant.

Burgers were flavorful! You can't go wrong! We had both sweet potato fries and regular and I would suggest get a blend of both!

Great visit to Cincinnati- great food right across from Great American BallPark! Reds were playing away during our visit. Like us, Most folks taking in the sights downtown, walking along river and bridges. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Clean restrooms.

This is a review for brunch. I was surprised how great of an experience we had! I'm always a little wary of sports bar type of restaurants and never know if the food or service will be that great. We were one of the first reservations for the morning and had a lovely experience! Get the cheese curds--a must! Our waiter was attentive and friendly, helping us figure out the best configuration of brunch cocktails for how much we wanted to have. I'm only docking one star as there really aren't a lot of vegetarian options with all of the fixings. You have to take things off to make things veggie friendly. I got the breakfast bowl and was pleased. I would definitely go back for brunch, and I want to check out dinner for sure!

Stopped in here on a very crowded night to grab a drink before a show at Heritage bank. Staff was super friendly and handled the large crowd very well. We didn't have a chance to try any of the food, but based on other Nation locations, I expect the food is just as good. I look forward to revisiting this spot on a less crowded night to get the full experience and hopefully move this to a 5 star review!

Great spot right next to the ballpark right across the street from the stadium on Joe Nuxhall Way. We did not get anything to eat here, but I did see quite a few nice looking appetizers and stuff getting brought out to other seated around us My dad and I went to o'clock noon baseball game August 30 and it was 96° out at the ballpark and the air conditioning and this little bar across the street was so welcoming about 45 minutes before hand as well as we stopped down for about a half an hour and another couple beers after the game Display for sure because it was a workday early in the afternoon but I imagine it's a really really popular place for the work crowd or the pre-ball game crowd for baseball football concerts whatever Quite a few really nice large screen TVs plenty of staff to wait on you beer prices seemed really good and nice and cold Would definitely return anytime

Attached to BetMGM, this restaurant is large, open and comfortable. The paid parking is conveniently located right next door! The menu isn't extensive but what they offer is so tasty and filling! I have been here a couple times and have had great experiences each time. The server and management are attentive and friendly. Children are welcome in the restaurant area but obviously not the betting lounge.

The breakfast sandwich is incredible and service was amazing for a ladies brunch on a Saturday morning!
