I never had authentic Indian cuisine up until I ate here. I must say that I'm throughly impressed! This was unlike anything I've eaten before, so although I cannot speak to the "authenticity" for certain, I can say it sure did taste wonderful!!I told the waiter that I was new to this cuisine, and he gave me his recommendation. The traditional spice level was wonderful. Service and interior design isn't exceptional; but that's not the point. The point is, this is a unique restaurant offering food that makes my taste buds happy. I will come back to this place many more times.

This place has been great every time we've gotten food here. We've only ever gotten takeout, but it's been an awesome experience each time. We are pretty basic, but we love the naan, the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer. We love the flavor, portion, and spice level. We really are very lucky to have a place like this in Etown. Any time we have a craving for Indian food, we know Namaste is here for us and is consistently great. We'll have to eat in one of these days!

Good food but would prefer more rice, and naan to come with meals. Good service, helpful. It's partly a grocery store too so not as romantic or classy but still nice. Restrooms were not that nice. Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, and Murgh Chettinad with chicken. We said medium spicy but the murgh was a 7 and the Tikka was a 5. I love the Indian spices and so a 5 was plenty for me.

The food here is always heavenly, everything I've had was amazing. The atmosphere is nice and moody, it's really nice on the eyes.My only complaint, is that a server flirted with me for the whole duration of my visit there once. I had turned him down and he kept staring and being weird. It made me wildly uncomfortable, and I'm nervous to ever go in there alone. I didn't catch his name. However, I still enjoy the meals I've had there. I'll just order takeout until another Indian restaurant moves into town that has less "friendly" staff.Parking is also atrocious.

We enjoyed our meals. I think I ordered a chicken kabob. The dish was served on a bed of sautéed onions (but no tomato sauce) with a piece of lemon. It was spicy, but not overly so. My husband's tandoori chicken with good, too. He also had a mango lassi, which he enjoyed. I'm not very acquainted with Indian food, but we would dine there again if we lived in the area.

My research determined that this was likely to be one of the few businesses that would meet my criteria (vegetarian-friendly, locally owned, and good) within a large geographic area. I was quite pleased to be right about this, when I arrived and found the place bustling. They lined all of their free wall space with shelves of Indian groceries, which I'm guessing are pretty hard to find around here. Their actual menu was pretty standard North Indian; less diverse than the grocery section.Getting any chaat item is a good idea because everyone can make it their own; there is no standard recipe. Here, the aloo tikki chaat had too little of the actual fried potato pattie for my liking, but came with an intoxicating array of flavors and more of a chili sauce kick than most of these dishes. The puffed rice soaked up flavors nicely. My entree was a bhindi masala which came, again, warmly spiced but delivered a mix of fruity flavors that I was hoping for. A paratha was perfectly flaky and peeled apart well to mop all of this up.I was a bit disappointed with the excess of salt, as there were plenty of other flavors, and excess saltiness is one of my biggest pet peeves. Still, having gotten freshly cooked, tasty food was a win.

Service, ambience and food were all excellent. Quite a few people rolled through during our lunch meal. We got a new app called chana chettanid that was really good. Spicy potato filling with a lite sauce and tomato/rice puff topping. Really good. Our standard meal was chicken tikka masala, which hard a thick rich sauce, not oily or overly creamy, nicely balanced. Chana saag was also well done in a normal fashion. Will be back.
