Najla's Cookies

I literally eat their blueberry lemon scone once a week they are soooo good! So after I posted on social media and one of my foodie friends mentioned they have a storefront I knows I had to check it out. The location is off in the cut in Lyndon. Not sure how long they have been at that location but I live near the area and never knew that plaza was there. The lobby area is not that large but it has a small space for a table and chairs.The service was pretty quick, the host gave me a paper menu and I marked the items I wanted. I purchased a blueberry lemon scone, chocolate chip chunk cookies, snickerdoodles, m&m cookies and a load of nana bread. She went in the back and grabbed what I needed everything was wrapped in plastic to seal in the freshness. I was even able to to have my scone warmed up. They also have soups to purchase as well. I'll have to check the soups out next time. Can't wait to try all bake goods I bought and excited that they have a bakery that I can visit to get what o want.

Love the oatmeal cherry white chocolate cookies. Not fond of the cheesecake brownie or blonde. Just seemed undercooked. Not fudgey. The snickerdoodle was too sweet for me. Still have a piece of banana that I haven't tried.

Great idea to send some treats to my Grandmother during this time of social distancing! She's very excited to try these items and the delivery arrived 30 minutes faster than estimated! Support local! I can't wait to try something myself in the near future, but in the meantime so happy I could do this for my Grandmother. Thanks for offering Delivery!

So, I haven't visited the actual bakery - I hope that doesn't discredit my awesome review of Najla's very fine baked goodies! Najla's wares are sold in local Heine Bros. coffee shops and I first fell in love with her vegan 'Body Good Bars'. No sugar, no processed anything, just whole food goodness that doesn't taste anything like tree bark. Chewy, sweet, yummy and satisfying, a body good bar is almost as good as a meal substitute for me if I'm on the go.Let's talk cookies. Extra butter = greasy & not enough butter = dry or hard. Najla's a pro because these are incredibly moist, never greasy, can be broken into bite sized crumbles but hold together well and are chock full of chocolate chip goodness. One is all you need.Need a sweet coffee treat that comes on less strong? I'm a big fan of the scones which, as far as I know, are only sold out of cafes, not the bakery. The blueberry lemon variety, when warmed is like a drop of lemony cloud on the tongue and a burst of blueberry sweetness to mellow it. When eaten straight from the cooler, it's not at all bad to dunk in one's coffee or tea and crumbles in equally perfect portion and texture to the cookies.Finally, if you've seen the bags of 'Gone Nuts' hanging at the counter and wondered, 'Should I?' you SHOULD. Unless you want to fit into your skinny jeans again. These are sinfully delicious and it's too easy to eat half of the high calorie bag. Best enjoyed when you can split them with a friend or two.Getting a cavity never tasted so good. I'll plug the website and say that you can buy in bulk there or send gift boxes/baskets. :)

EXCELLENT cookies, scones and other treats!This " Kentucky Proud" gourmet cookie bakery is a delicious little spot in Lyndon. There are nut free options and gluten free options available. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Decadent and delicious. My grandma knew excellent baking, Najla knows excellent baking. I would eat anything she put in front of me. My highest compliments to the chef - and staff! Thank you for the recent order for my colleagues, they were very happy campers.

We have been fans of Najla's for many years. The cookie selection is tremendous, the presentation is lovely, and the taste is unparalleled. Hands down, Najla's cookies are our favorite in Louisville. If you are interested in other food choices, those are delicious as well.

I live out of state and had cookies delivered to my daughter at work today for her birthday. I've got them from other backeries in the past but she said these were the best ever. She shared the 7 dozen with her boss and coworkers. They all wanted to know where they came from. Thank you for making me a big hit with my daughter and her coworkers. Steve Evansville

Can't go wrong with anything here. Love the cookies, brownies, scones, etc. Also a great selection of pre-made meal options with a friendly staff and even better owner in Najla!

I live in another state with college kids in Louisville and I wanted to go local when selecting a cookie basket for Valentines. Najla created a cookie extravaganza with such a lovely personal touch.! When the gift arrived (within an hour!!!) there was nothing but OOOhh's and Aahh'S and most importantly my kids said they tasted fantastic...brownies and a variety of cookies, even some special heart shaped sugar....from now on when I need sweet treats this will be the only bakery I select. Reasonable, personal, yummy and fast. I'm sold!
