A blast from my past, it's been many many year's since visiting and let me say friendly as I remember and more. Tracy our server was awesome with drinks we ordered Korean smoked bbq wings so tender , flavorful with a Philly cheese steak hoagie and side of cheese fries covered with bacon crumbles. Eras introduced to Brain who made our meal. Kudos to him. He showed us the newest addition. Event center for comedy and music events. ( see Schedule). Great place to hang. 2 Full barClean facilities Plenty of lot parking. Karaoke on weekends in lounge.

I'm visiting my parents in the area. I came here the last time I was in Louisville two years ago. Friendly staff. I can't guarantee this will happen to newcomers, but on two separate occasions regulars bought me a drink. Mr. G's definitely needs a good review!

Great 'local' bar, cheap drinks and an interesting clientele! This is a neighborhood bar - nothing fancy, but you can count on great theme nights and cheap drinks.

Just about the best wings in town. Great dry rub tender wings with an excellent buffalo sauce on the side. Friendly bartenders. This places has really kicked up its food. Going to give somebody some really strong competition.

I was at Mr. G Saturday night and my friend was falsely accused of pouring a drink on a female. He then was kicked out of the bar. I was nowhere near him when this happened, but other people we were with observed. I guess guilty by association even though I was nowhere near him when this event occurred. I tried to re-enter the establishment and was completely manhandled by the bouncers. They tore the sleeve off my shirt and look at my arm. I understand this establishment is under new ownership. Apparently an ex police officer and is trying to clean the place up, but I doubt very seriously that this type of aggressive behavior by their bouncers is the direction they were hoping to go. Completely disgusted.

Cheap, simple place for beers, cocktails, cornhole and darts. It's located near the Douglass Hills and Plainview neighborhood so many locals frequent it. I stopped in for "one last beer" with a friend. The crowd was small and we were taken care of right away. Very friendly service and quick checkout when we were ready. Need a late night spot to end the night? Keep Mr. G's bookmarked.

I've been coming here for 20 years. New ownership. Brought food back. Excellent pizza, burgers and smoked wings.

Very yummy. Weird little place and hard to find. But really decent! Food was surprisingly really good. Grilled cheese was excellent and I'm a connoisseur one of my favorite foods is grilled cheese. My hubby had the fajita wrap and said it was really quite delicious. Fried mushrooms and onion rings and they were filling and delicious. Pleasantly surprised! We'll come again. People were fun and friendly.

Great service from the amazing bartender! Felt very safe being a single woman and having the doorman walk you to the parking lot when it was late! Amazing food! We will definitely be back! Great music! Great vibe! Amazing patrons!

I ordered their fried mushrooms. I wasn't expecting anything except mediocre bar food but it was superb. The mushrooms were not slimy but fresh and moist on each bite and the batter was delicious and crisp-- fried to perfection. So good sauce was probably uncessary I swear. It was definitely an appetizer that could be served at a top tier expensive restaurant. What was also mind blowing was I believe you got eight of them and they were huge, for only 6.25. What??!!!I'd like to add that the service was stellar. This was the second time I had walked into that bar. Both times the staff were prompt with service and very friendly. The owner was cooking back in the kitchen on this particular night so he came out and talked to us and asked us what we thought about the food, atmosphere, prices, ect. I have to say I was impressed that he genuinely cared about the products he was putting out and the service his staff were providing. You could tell. Me and my date felt the prices were beyond fair, the food so tasty, and the staff rocked! Btw try pulled pork sandwich with side pickles barbeque sauce was also amazing...
