Montgomery Towne Tavern

Discovered this place today after living on the area for 23 years lol. Absolutely astonished at how good everything was! I had the Boom Boom burger and fries with one smoked rib to try. Burger was huge, fresh made and totally terrific, fries are crispy and fluffy with no batter nor seasoning on them. Onion rings are battered and crispy, truly flavorful. Now the ribs: smoked, meaty and made In House, sauces made in house! Try working the sweet bbq and Jamaican together, was delicious! Prices are reasonable, great staff that cares and took an interest. You MUST try this place good lunch or dinner, a true diamond in the rough and not well enough known. You will love this joint!

Interesting stop through as we were traveling along 275 loop. It was a Friday at 4 and we were there till 6:30. Took a bit to get drinks at bar and as the locals came in it got even harder to get service. We ordered a BLT that got lost in translation (or system) not sure, but an hour later we got it along with some drama behind bar. We will not come back as it's really a local spot. For new comers I recommend trying somewhere more relaxing.

Locals bar with good food. The have an outdoor patio and some electronic gaming. After the shift change from a warm friendly barkeep the replacement didn't have the same warm personality. It was time to move on as a visitor.

We stopped in here last minute after Silver Spring house was swamped. We had no idea what to expect. We walked in (6 of us) and the place was pretty busy. The waitress came up and greeted us quickly and hot our drink orders. She was very helpful on guiding our food selections. As a group we ordered burgers, chicken sandwich, wings, pretzels and cheese sticks. Everything was so good. Even better we were able to play pool and darts while waiting for our food. Great little place for a cold beer and really solid food in a chill atmosphere. This is our new go to when in the area.

Food was ok.... A little too salty, the wings were.... But the lady serving had a terrible attitude and lost my business....

Who knew that this place would have homemade food. It's bar food and far from healthy, but quite tasty. Drink prices are reasonable and service is friendly. This is not your five star atmosphere- it's a simple locals bar with surprisingly good bar bites.

The food was absolutely amazing. My parents came in for a visit over the weekend and my family are sort of wing connoisseurs. We went down to knock back nats Saturday to check out what they were all about, but after I saw the Mozz sticks photo on this place, we came Sunday for lunch. We got burgers, wings, and mozzarella sticks and I can't wait to go back. The wings were better than any other place I've had in Cincinnati. I'm typically more a deep fried wing type of gal, but enjoy smoked too. These had that tenderness of a deep fried wing as well as a nice crispy outside but the smokiness and slight char of a smoked wing. Incredible! Burgers were fantastic as well. Don't forget the mozz sticks!! Made in house and delicious.

Love this place! Everyone knows everyone but do welcome in newbies! We went because I am always game for a new restaurant to try. Because we should want to keep local restaurants open. They play bingo on Fridays. Go on a Friday with your significant other and play bingo, eat delicious food and make new friends. The food is delicious! Go and come back to tell me how much fun you had.

My sister-in-law, and I went to a Montgomery Towne, Tavern today. We had the breaded mozzarella sticks for a appetizer. I had a cheeseburger and fries for my meal and my sister-in-law had the wings for her meal. Service was good..The ambiance was also good. I have to say my cheeseburger was the best that I've had a long time..

The best kept secret in Hamilton County, if not all of Ohio. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 15, all across the board!
