Molly Brooke's Pub

They have a lot of draft beers. It's in the heart of downtown. We were there for happy hour on a Thursday evening.I tried their guiness beer and it was great. The bartender was helpful and attentive.Be mindful, the place is not huge. But there was enough space for a small group of people.Lots of restaurants nearby as well. Might have trouble parking on the streets, but can park at any of the paid lots nearby.

I have been to this little Irish pub quite a few times. It is an okay place to stop in for a drink when you are not in a hurry or when they are not crowded. It is a very small and award place for seating and layout. I do like the fact they have Guiness on tap. That is actually their saving grace in my opinion. They have a few outdoor tables out on the side walk which helps with some of the spillover.The staff are hit or miss at times. Sometimes they are great and friendly. Other times you seem like you are bothering them trying to order a drink. Not the best job for those folks in my eyes. Oh well. It is very cute on the inside and usually clean. Tends to get backed up and packed quickly. It is good enough to stop in for a drink, but nothing I would go out of my way for.

Fun little Irish pub with long pours and a decent draft beer selection. Always a lively crowd with a few seats outside and a patio "smoking" area in the back. I'm not sure you'd call it a "dive bar" but it has a super casual vibe and no discernible dress code.

We made a quick stop in St Paddies day festivities, Place was pretty cool & really crowded. Worth coming back on less crowded day. They do have Yuengling on draft.

This is by far one of my favorite bars in Lexington. Very nontraditional. Every staff member and bartender I've met is incredibly nice and friendly. Great drinks with great prices. Low energy, a good place to go to chill instead of be out all night.

Woohoo, another "Irish Pub."I know one of the bartenders is Australian, another I've heard with an "Irish" accent one minute and speaking plain old Amurkin the next. I mean I don't expect everybody working at an Irish bar to actually be Irish, but no need to pretend.Mostly though, Molly's tends to close the bar arbitrarily early and then gets rude when you're surprised 20 minutes before last call that you can't go back inside from the patio because "we're closing," and then an argument ensues because they still have your credit card at the bar.The music is usually too loud and, as it's been said, the prices are high (by Lexington standards), the place is small and the set up is just plain awkward.

A fairly young local pub, Molly Brooke's has an strong Irish pub theme with Guiness draft and assorted Irish drink specials. Unfortunately, seating is inadequate and there is too much empty space between the bar and the single row of small high tables. It's an awkward set up. Drinks are grossly overpriced and nothing special, not to mention that the bar is always inaccessible. I'm not a fan.

Right across from the courthouse and Guinness on tap. Plenty of friendly people willing to share a pint and a story. Very pleasant evening.

My absolute favorite bar in Lexington. An authentic Irish bar, great beer selection, friendly staff, always clean. And by far the best Guinness in town. Yum yum.

Refreshing Southwick's beer that took my tastebuds right back to Ireland! Hoping for food...but no food so enjoyed our beer and roamed for a burger. Super friendly and conversational bartender!
