I thought I had struck gold when I first moved to Louisville and learned of Havana Rumba. Then I was over the moon when La Bodeguita De Mima opened. Now I have hit the trifecta with Mojito in Havana. Three Cuban restaurants in Louisville? I must be dreaming. Service was decent, but not overwhelming. The interior is dark and has a nightclub-esque feel to it. The room where we were sat only had tall tables with barstools which i am normally not a fan of, they tend to be very uncomfortable, and this was no exception, I am glad we had somewhere to be so it was a short meal.Sampled the CUBAN TAMALE (Fresh corn tamale topped with roasted pork and mojo criollo sauce.) - very large portion, very deliciousThe CROQUETAS DE JAMON (Serrano ham croquets served with a Chipotle aioli sauce for dipping on the side.) did not taste anything like ham, but they still were tasty.My entree was the Ropa Veija flatbread (shredded beef, bell peppers, onions and olives in a wine and tomato sauce, fig marmalade, topped with blue cheese, Manchego, and herbs). This was absolutely gigantic and honestly a bit hard to eat without it being a complete mess. The flatbread was hard, almost cracker like, so it could not be cut normally. but picking it up meant half the toppings fell onto the table. Very tasty though, I would order this to take home where no one cares what kind of animal you are when eating, hahaAnyway, nice place, nice staff, they do have an outdoor area for the nicer months, I would go again

Mojito in Havana is where good vibes and strong drinks come to party. The margaritas here are no joke--they're so strong, they could probably bench-press your bad day. And on Wednesdays, they're half-price, which means twice the fun (and maybe twice the wobble on your way out).The food? Top-notch. The Pinchos del Solomillo and Grilled Veggies Platter are like edible hugs, and the Cuban Vegetariano could convert even the most skeptical carnivore. The guacamole with plantain chips? Always a win--like a tropical twist on chips and dip, but fancier.The outdoor area is massive and recently remodeled, complete with a charming fountain that makes you feel like you're dining in a postcard. Winter, please hurry up and leave--I need that patio in my life!

Ahhhh what a gem in the city! Of course getting to see our Fav is always the best!!! Rosa's the most precious person! WE LOVE YOUUUUUU We got to try the nachos this time- sooooo freaking good! We had drinks and I always get the Zarzuela De Marisco- because it's not just phenomenal it's like love in a bowl, that's infused with the best version of home that you could ever imagine seriously soothing and healing- never fails I always feel a million times better after eating it, don't have to be sick or down or anything it just I don't know- but it makes everything better lol and always ask for extra Arroz Blanco!!! You're welcome The kid always gets the chicken Marsala with extra potatoes! Hands down her favorite for the same reasons!!! And for a "tapas" it's a great portion size and it is so delicious and tender.... My god the chicken is worthy of all awards. We did start with the Chicken Nachos- omg soooo good. And surprisingly the bean sauce... made the dish so complete and delicious!And as always my Cuban coffee with extra sugar - superior to all others. lolChefs kiss hit em five times!

Good size portions and strong drinks!Cuban food is always good, and this spot compares to its sister restaurants. I'm not in love with some of the prices but if you get certain items (like the nachos) you get a good portion so it's not as bad on the wallet.The live music can be a little too loud if sitting outside but it can also be fun depending on the vibe you're looking for.

Another great meal at mojito in Havana! I always get the Caesar salad and add chicken. It's so good! My husband typically gets the Havana rumba sandwich with sweet potato fries. I always sneak a few fries because they're so good in the honey dipping sauce. My draft beer was flat and I replaced with bottle, they were friendly about replacing it.
