Mirabelle Gourmet Catering

Gregoire is absolutely wonderful! With a wide range of offerings, there's easily options to suit any preferences. He catered my sister's wedding and I've still been reminded how good the food was from friends and family. He made sure to cater to her specific requests for some items, as well as offer options for dietary preferences. He setup a beautiful buffet that allowed those who wanted seconds to go back and enjoy another serving. From the appetizers, to the salad, to the entree, we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We recently used Mirabelle Gourmet Catering for my daughter's wedding. It was an absolute embarrassment and disaster. He was supposed to be onsite no later then 10:00 am. He finally showed up at 3:00 for a 4:00 wedding, Chilled items were delivered at 10:00 am which the caterer knew had to be put on ice which he was responsible for and were at room temperature by the time he got there. To add insult to injury he charged us a last minute charge of $600 which was basically for ice and a few sliced lemons and limes. Moving on to the food. The food he served was nothing like what we tasted at his kitchen when we hired him. The beef tenderloin was described by one person as beef jerky. I wouldn't go that far but it was certainly not the tender moist pink beef tenderloin we had enjoyed. But some people never tasted it. He ran out of appetizers and food way before everyone was served. I'm not talking seconds. I'm talking their 1st courses. Frankly they didn't miss anything because again unlike our previous experience all the food was tasteless and bland. To compound his poor catering service even more, he then left the wedding. That's right left way early in the evening. Got in his vehicle and took off just after his horrible food serving. We immeditely called him on his cell phone and told him to get his a** back with some food to feed those who were still unfed. He begrudgedly came back with Dominos pizza which he sat on a table in the rain. Absolutely worthless and yet we paid top dollar for Domino's Pizza as his way to feed our hungry unfed guest.Total absolute disaster. Look elsewhere even though he has a great reputation around town. Why take the chance. He apparently has grown too big to handle his catering the way he once did. I did email him with specific questions regarding his poor service to give him the opportunity to respond before I posted our experience. I also spoke to his personal friends, who I know told him my feelings and I ran into his staff at another event after ours and expressed my total displeasure with his catering to share with him. He has not responded to me at all in the 3 weeks that have passed.

Chef was awesome.... Staff was outstanding... Food was a 10! Our guest love everything!!! No complaints!!!

Mirabelle catered my wedding with the best wedding food I've ever had, and did a great job at our slightly unorthodox wishes for it to be a vegetarian meal. Every single dish was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Chef Gregoire had lots of good ideas for drinks and hors d'ouvres that I would never have thought of. Highly recommended!

Chef Greg and his team at Mirabelle catered my wedding at The Marcus Lindsey recently and they knocked it out of the park. Chef Greg was one of the first caterers to respond to my initial requests (other catering companies couldn't even manage that) and he maintained this level of responsiveness throughout the year it took to plan our wedding. Chef Greg was open to our ideas to create a menu based on our theme and really helped us to develop a cohesive menu that offered options for all types of eaters. The pricing was appropriate to the quality of food and I really liked that we had the option to provide our own alcohol. When the day of the wedding finally came, Chef Greg and his team arrived on time, helped to put final details together, and provided outstanding service to myself and my guests. I heard nothing but praise regarding the food itself and the presentation was sophisticated and easy to access. Clean up after the reception was such a breeze that I did not even realize it was happening!I could not have wished for a better experience and am grateful for the Mirabelle team and Chef Greg for making our big day an easy and carefree day. My final compliment goes to the Mirabelle catering team itself, shortly after the wedding was over I was contacted by a guest who is in a wheelchair and was informed about some "drama" that I had missed related to the venue's malfunctioning wheelchair lift. Apparently, the door on the lift stuck and my guest and his companion could not get him out to leave the venue at the end of the night. The Mirabelle catering team saw that that this was happening and without even being asked came to help my guest be carried in his chair down the stairs so that he could leave. I was amazed to hear this and impressed by the quality of staff working for Mirabelle.My only regret is that now that the wedding is over, I will miss working with this fantastic team! Way to go guys you helped to make our day perfect and for brides/grooms looking for an experienced team, I strongly recommend team Mirabelle!

One of the best caterers in Kentucky. After he catered my wedding I've never felt so satisfied with the food service industry. Authentic food, beautiful presentation, and a world class chef. The owner chef gregoire is a culinary genius, he was great to work with and will go above and beyond when creating a menu to suit all of your needs. Low budget, or high budget you can rest assured the company will work tooth and nail to leave you in awe. 10/10 you can look forward to a cuisine experience of a lifetime if you book Mirabelle for your event.

Chef Greg and his team at Mirabelle Gourmet Catering did an amazing job preparing the dinner for my daughter's wedding at Whitehall. Everyone has been raving about the delicious food. My husband says the beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and my mom can't stop talking about the lemon sauce on the chicken. The salad, topped with Chef Greg's amazing spicy glazed pecans, was incredible and he made the bride's dreams come true with delicious profiteroles bathed in Belgian chocolate sauce for dessert. We loved it all!

Chef Greg catered our daughter's wedding at Ray Eden Gardens. This venue cannot be easy to work in as a chef. There's no kitchen and the only running water near where they serve is a hose! Despite this, the food was delicious. A week later, and I am still getting emails complimenting us on the food. His staff is just great -- personable, helpful, and in the spirit of a great party! Greg's been responsive throughout the year. He's got great ideas and was willing to accommodate our needs -- for us, for a vegetarian buffet.I've been to two other weddings that Chef Greg has his staff have catered and they've both been excellent. No question but that if we doing it again, we'd go with Mirabelle.

Chef Greg catered our wedding this past September at Whitehall House and Gardens. Everything was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious! We couldn't be happier with our choice to have Mirabelle cater our wedding. Chef Greg and his staff far exceeded our expectations. Chef Greg was amazing to work with and he truly listened to what our vision was for the food for our big day. It was so refreshing to have a caterer who was willing to work with us to help make our vision for our big day come to life. Chef Greg truly cares about his clients and is passionate about the food he creates and its presentation. Chef Greg is super personable and always timely responded to our many questions. He also let us have two tastings to help finalize our wedding menu to make sure we were absolutely satisfied with everything prior to our big day. It was clear to us he was dedicated to making sure our wedding food was perfect.Thanks to Chef Greg and his amazing staff our day went smoothly from the passed appetizers to the dinner. We had so many guests during our wedding and after our wedding contact us to ask who catered our wedding because it was the best food they had every had and we have been more than happy to pass along Chef Greg's information. We truly can't thank Mirabelle enough for making our wedding day perfect. Everything was just as we imagined it would be--a truly fabulous day and we couldn't have done it without Chef Greg and Mirabelle! Chef Greg truly goes above and beyond to make sure your event is perfect.
