Decided to support a local black owned business today and Millies has the BEST fried chicken. It was juicy but not greasy. The portion was perfect and the sides were good as well. Especially the greens. Just like (grand) mom use to make! I had the yams and macaroni and fish too. It was one of those days where everything looked and sounded good. The order was called in for pick up and the service was good. I advise going during the week. I heard it is a zoo on Sundays with the church crowd.Not so humbly submitted,Michael C.

This place is worth coming back to!! Call your order in advance. $10 for a HUGE place of chicken or white fish fried with two sides! Think comfort food meets fast food. Definitely a good option for lunch!

Very satisfying. I would go there again in a heartbeat. Very friendly staff. Food so good it made me wanna slap my mamma!

Okay, I understand some of the low ratings. The place looks suspect, but the food is really good. I wish there were dual ratings, one for food and one for service and location. I always love the taste of the food, and it is worth sitting in what looks like a renovated living room to eat it. The black eyed peas...outstanding. The cobbler is amazing. All of the veggies were really good. I loved the meats. The Mac and Cheese was good, but not stellar. I also agree that they are stingy on the ice. If you really want some legit soul food, then this is the place for you. You have to go in with the mindset you are going into the hood for a taste of country, down home food. It's just like that ghetto aunt who you don't want to take in public...but DARN can she burn.

Came in on a Sunday after church with the family. Waited in line for buffet to go because the dining room isn't open right now. This place feels like home. Angie and the staff are pleasant, courteous, and genuinely good people. The food is AMAZING! From the fried chicken, fish, rib tips, yams, greens, we were not dissatisfied. We live 20 miles away but drove to enjoy the great food and service.

Amazing amount of food for a fair price. Fried chicken was excellent, meatloaf very good and very generous portion. Yams, black eyed peas and cabbage was very good. Cornbread was good, but not very sweet bit better with butter. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Great southern comfort food. Will have to try the other meats and offerings next time.

Expected REAL mashed potatoes - NOT INSTANT! Fried battered fish was salty and overcooked under the heat lamp. Price increased $2 for Sunday dinner ($20). No longer includes dessert. That's an extra $4.... Grrrrrrr.... Use to be decent but now it's just "meh"..

The food is tasty. The order was missing a few items but it was minor. I appreciate this family establishment working collectively to feed the community and hungry diners.
