Millanova Winery

Long time customer and visitor to Millanova, but in December I rented out one of the rooms for my wife's 50th birthday party. Beth was such a pleasure to work with from the beginning to end! From the layout to the ambiance and lighting to the service that evening it was all so perfect. I wanted to review them sooner but I had forgotten....just as I had forgotten to follow up on my damage deposit! I got a call yesterday from Beth regarding that deposit returned to me. Thank you for an epic evening and top tier customer service!

This place is so gorgeous and the wine is amazing! Booking for events was free and a flight was only $6! Amazing prices, wonderful service, and a gorgeous place to go to for any occasion.

Love this winery! We had a big group and enjoyed time together drinking their wines paired with chocolates. They have both sweet and dry wines. My favorite is the Pinot Grigio. You can bring your own snacks too! Staff was very nice and did an awesome job waiting on all of the customers on a busy day.

Now I have officially been to all the Wineries in the Bullitt county area off I-65. Not all on the same day but, I did visit 3 out of the 4 in the area same area with another on a separate day. I don't dislike this winery but, it's my least favorite. I'm the only customer in the whole place (YAY) so I got instant service. I did the taste four wines for $5 and got to try a specialty for an additional $2. I tried some dry and semi sweet wines but, I have to say the specialty called the Berry White was my favorite one. I got a plain glass to taste in but got the souvenir glass for free to keep. This glass is the no stem on the bottom, I do like that. I would have given 5 stars if the guy that hosted my tasting was more social vs. antisocial . He was not rude in anyway shape or form but seemed to be a little antisocial this visit. Could be because businesses was very slow (Who Knows). He did thank me when I put money in the tip jar. We told each other to have a good day and that was that. I'll venture here again someday I just don't know when.

Went to their wine tasting & chocolate pairing, which was great! It was a little loud for an intimate setting, but seems like an excellent place when it is warm outside. I recommend tasting a few wines, then buying a bottle and some cheese & crackers!

Beautiful venue. It was over 100 outside so we opted to stay in for the tasting where it was nice and cool. Our host was very nice and educated about the company's wines. We tasted several before agreeing in a bottle for the table. The wine is good, on the sweeter side for my dry loving reds self, but to each their own. This seems to be a hot wedding venue. There were bridesmaids running around, photographs being taken and we even saw the bride. So don't be shocked to be mixed in with some wedding chaos. The cheese plate is where this place does a 5-star rating. Absolutely delicious!!! And so worth the cheap price. Try the Mint Julia and order a cheese tray.

I am a wineaholic, and will easily go out of my way to stop at wineries during road trips. This one is not too far from the heart of Mt. Washington, and really close to the highway. This winery is gorgeous. I think this one may have one of the prettiest backyards I have seen, and makes for a lovely hangout on the patio. Here you get to try 4 wines, which is less than some other places, but still a good enough portion. I really enjoyed all of the ones I picked out, and even had to take one home... I forgot the name of it, but it had hints of white chocolate and berries! It is a great dessert wine. The man working here at the time was very friendly, and even had paper cups for us to sip out of during the corona era. Millanova is worth the detour, or the drive if you live nearby!

Instead of Derby Day activities, my friends and I go wine tasting in the area. Milla Nova was our second tasting of the day, and my favorite of the three.A tasting costs $5 for several samples. They have a really varied and rather large selection of choices. I prefer sweeter wines, and they have plenty to choose from! The most interesting option that I sampled was the Mint Julia. Very unique and refreshing. I don't think I could justify a whole bottle of it, but a sample was great!The ladies working were super friendly. The three people working were easily able to handle our group of 12, with our rapid fire questions and requests and tasting desires.The tasting room is large but inviting. They have a back room that was being set up for a wedding later in the evening. And they have a great patio and outdoor area. We had brought lunch along for a mid-day break, and we decided to eat it here. It was a lovely stop on our wine drinking day! Absolutely would recommend!

This was a classy winery. When we walked in, we were greeted and waited on right away. I love the décor and how open/bright. We did the wine tasting for $6.00 which you get a 5 of your choice and comes with a glass. I really love the dark wines and there was a white mint wine that was very refreshing. They had it on ice mixed with the mint wine and pinot grigio. With our tasting, we purchased a cheese plate for $9.99 which you get the garlic cheese spread (Kentucky's local cheese) and sundried tomato spread, apples and crackers. Delish!!!The staff was very friendly and quick. I did not feel rushed. Felt very relaxed.I would definitely come back. There was a wedding going on while we were doing our tasting. The outside is gorgeous. If the weather wasn't so bad, we would have sat outside.

Attended a beautiful wedding here. Food was great and so was staff. I will definitely be returning
